If you could create a EPCOT Pavilion...

If you could create and construct a new EPCOT pavilion, what would it be about, what type of ride or rides would it have, and maybe, possibly, what would look like? It should be interesting to see what people come up with. EDIT: No remakes of pavilions or past pavilions. Thank You.

Since we are Blue Skying here...I am going to steal my Son's idea (he wants to be an Imagineer)
A Greece pavilion. The main design will be inspired by Ancient Greece. Columns and recreations of famous site and statues.
Central in this Pavilion will be Mount Olympus. This will house the attraction and the restaurant.
The Attraction will be an E-Ticket coaster ride featuring a leisurely chariot tour of the land that becomes dangerous when Athens is attacked by Titans. A mix of dark ride and coaster with Animatronics and Projections.
The Restaurant will be a short ride up to the top of Mount Olympus, through the clouds where you can "Dine with the Gods". This will also give patrons incredible view of Epcot and Illuminations from their tables or special viewing areas. May include walkaround "Gods".

I would create a pavilion that used animatronics and looked at how the past saw the future, we see the present, and how we were the future. Have sections of the future living at sea, desert farming, and space living. Oh and have very large screens for the present. Let us also vote how the ride should end.............oh we had that once. It was called Horizons. Ok so bring it back.

New Horizons

Exactly what you think it is. ;)

honestly i think a remake would be a good idea...not a recreation totally new experience that followed the same principles...and eats guests...replace the health pavilion. an immersive story telling ride that could show several futures...much more open ended than first horizons so it wont age like an intel chip-set. IE generalizations with examples...could be amazing.

As bad as it might sound for us on these forums, a Brazil pavilion could be a great addition to the World Showcase. The pavilion itself could be built to resemble the average Brazilian town, with a restaurant obviously serving authentic Brazilian food. There could be a stage show inspired by Carnaval featuring music and dancers. As for a main attraction, I've got nothing right now. And hey, maybe the tour groups would spend more time here than anywhere else.

I really wanted to make a Future World concept, but there isn't really any area of science I can think of that hasn't already been covered in the park or is simple enough to make a ride for the average guest.

Heh, that's what I was originally going to write, but decided against it for fear of being offensive.

yeah if Steve dont like my comments he will delete them or beat me with a stick.
i push the envelope on purpose it promotes free speech and expression and in my case is never directly harmful. sure forum has last laugh but if you define that line it is much harder for it to be moved rearward.

If they did build a new pavilion I hope they do it right. Morocco is an example of a good pavilion. Canada of a bad one. Morocco has options. Three eating options: Signature Restaurant, Casual with Spice Road and a Quick serve. Frozen drinks, beer, shopping and live entertainment.

Canada bad. It should be called the British Columbia pavilion. I can't believe the only real food option is Le Cellier. Can't believe you can't pick up an order of poutine without a dinner reservation, or get a bit of smoked meat, which isn't even available. They do have the lumberjack show but again it's more centric to Vancouver or the Canadian Rockies, basically BC, and pays little to no attention to Quebec and Ontario.

Well first this ^^^

As a Canadian I find the Canadian pavilion kind of disappointing... like a caricature of Canada.

The food options are especially disappointing because we have wonderful classics that should be shared!

I think they should have an outdoor cart or small take out restaurant where you can get great Canadian treats like: poutine, maple sugar candy, Naomi bars, a cronut, a beaver tail, and butter tarts etc. It should serve drinks like TIM HORTONS COFFEE, Canadian Beer, and Newfie Screech. Man I miss that Tim Hortons Coffee by the time I get home! :D

Anyway... moving on...

I think it would be great to have an "imagineer" pavilion in future world where you could walk through and see imagineers working on future projects. Kind of like the way you could go through MGM and watch the artists painting cells etc. back in the day. They could put up concept art and models etc. for people to see for projects already announced but not completed... a behind the scenes tour. Maybe they could have a couple times a day where you could meet an imagineer and ask them questions. :)

The king/president/ruler of Morroco sent in his own architects and people to design the pavilion.

EPCOT does have Cronuts but not at the Canada pavillion, but it is kinda close-ish. :hilarious::cautious: Anyway, I would like to add winegums to that list of needed Canadian treats. I can't tell you how many times I go into the shops there and mention it to the CMs and they are like ahhh winegums we miss those! LOL
Beaver Tails. How I miss thee. Add them back on a snack cart, please TDO, I beg you!:inlove:
