But, the mayor has no say-so on what disney does here or there. They bought the land...and its theirs as long as they follow the property rules.

That's the whole point. When Walt bought the land, to avoid being stuck to Orlando laws, he created a new county (Reedy Creek, I think). So they have their own police force, their own fire fighters, hospitals, laws and mayor. They answer to the state, not to Orlando.

Question How does one become Mayor of Disney? :king: and how much is he or she paid? and are they entitled to the same benefits as a regular employee. I want to be Mayor so I can be there everyday.:king:

1. I would want to live on Main Street - maybe in the Castle.
2. I would keep Carousel of Progress open indefinitely.
3. I would keep the parks open later.
4. I would make the fireworks even larger and last longer.
5. I would want the characters to be walking around the parks rather than stationed at Character Greeting points within the park.
okay i cannot think of anything else.
