Good Point! I would just want to furnish the room in the castle, or on Main Street, so I could live there :)

P.S. my 400th post!!

Congrats on 400.

A room sounds good especially if its on the top floor in the castle. I would like to walk the parks listening to all the happy people.

I would give all the president's in HoP new outfits, they would all wear shorts and hawiain shirts...lol:lol:

Seriously, I would just be happy to live in WDW. If I lived in the castle, then work (City Hall) is in walking distance. That's not bad...:animwink:

Inaugural Address

As Mayor, my first offical acts would be...
  • Keep three parks open till midnight every night (close DAK earlier because of the animals)
  • Add more pyro to the evening shows at those same three parks (again, keep it quiet for the animals)
  • Link all parks and resorts with a next-generation monorail transportation system
  • Install 300+ ft gigacoasters in all four parks
  • Go in haste to find funds to pay for all of the preceeding!:p

Actually, the Mayor lives near Downtown Disney... on Royal Court, which is just off of Buena Vista Drive, just before the Distribution Centers.

I'm not sure, but I beleive his office is either in Team Disney, or the Suntrust building... (someone correct me if I'm mistaken)

Nope there is an actual unfinished apartment above the Royal Table...at least that's what Birnbaums says and thats what I've always heard.

I would love to have an apartment built on Mainstreet similar to the one Walt had in DL. :)

Actually, there is a room there. That's where Tink takes-off from. Walt was supposed to use it, but after he died, the family (Roy O's) took over. I think they got to use it a couple of times before Roy's death. After that, it was turned into a storage room. From what I heard, it's pretty small. But memory is weak, so don't quote me on any of this. Maybe a more "senior" CM can confirm or deny it all.

My first order of business as mayor:

Roasting marshmallows over a campfire, which would be started using the "limited operating hours" and ride closed signs currently in the parks. :fork:

I think that I could make there be a room in every hotel reserved for me, kinda like all my little "second-homes." Then, every day I would walk around each park and observe everyone having fun, like Walt used to do.

Hey, as mayor, could I re-open some attractions? :lookaroun

LOL... no... it's just a bit of knowledge one picks up as a Bus Driver... It's my job to know all the roads on property, and where they lead to.
