I was wondering, if you could associate the four seasons with two colors each, what would they be?

Here are my associations:
  • Spring - Green and Pink
  • Summer - Yellow and Red
  • Fall - Orange and Brown
  • Winter - Blue and White

I do it just a bit differently
Fall/Winter the berry family from dusty rose to burgundy is my base with navy, black and grey as my main neutrals
Spring/Summer it's pinks and lavenders with white, navy and black as my neutrals.
That being said I'm a sucker for florals any time of year:joyfull:

Note that I didn't really intend this thread to be a fashion thread, despite my other thread (even though I buy a lot of pink clothes in the spring).
I'm sorry not just fashion including my nails but they are my colors for pretty much everything including but not limited to home dec in my little area and the flowers in my garden

Just substitute beige/khaki for navy, and that's my color palette. I started having trouble (age related) telling the difference between black and true navy blue (remember Steve Martin's tuxedo in "Father of the Bride?" ;)) so have eliminated navy.

Sympathy like. I'd be in big trouble if that ever happened to me

There's a good chance that if you live long enough it'll happen. Haven't you ever wondered why some old people wear clothing that clashes? Some are lucky, and avoid losing their color sense. Others have just eliminated problem colors from their wardrobes. But many just walk around with mismatchedc clothes, and don't give a rats behind - thinking, "I'm old; who cares?" :p
