Personally I think Toy Story Land needs more to it, ideally a nice dark ride. Maybe bulldoze buzz at MK and put it where it will belong, in TSL. Perhaps with the new shanghai version coming

Of all the rides in Tomorrowland that are bemoaned for not fitting the theme, I think Buzz is by far the least deserving. It's sci-fi, it takes place in the far future; what's not to love?

On another note...it'll never happen again, but as pumped as I am for the new DHS additions, it's a darn shame that it didn't last as a real studio. Every non-castle WDW theme park was created with the aspiration that it would be more than just a theme park (Epcot deals with scientific and societal progress, MGM/DHS was a place to see major film and TV production at work, Animal Kingdom doubles as a reserve dedicated to conservation). The Studios will never again have that extra bit of magic.

I think it's because the idea of the ride is that you're the size of a toy, but it doesn't bother me that much. And it could be worse. Finding Nemo isn't futuristic, but that didn't stop Disneyland from sticking it in THEIR Tommorowland.

Or Epcot... The idea of shrinking down to a toy is easy to do story wise. You can get away with little theming. I think it works as a quick land.

I think that Disney needs to go another direction for the Disney's Florida Adventure (not a confirmed name, just what makes sense they would name it).
A large portion of the park is Old Hollywood (with RR, ToT, Great Movie Ride), Toy Story Land, Star Wars Land, and a mini Muppets Land (needs another attraction, meet/greet location, something).

I think an Indiana Jones ride (pulled right from Disneyland) right by the Stunt Spectacular and a quick service version of Jock Lindsey's would be a great "mini" land, and then expanding by the Tower of Terror/Fantasmic Theater to include a few attractions with nods to Mickey/Minnie/Goofy/Pluto/Chip/Dale etc would be a great addition.

Well I disagree. It should be about the movies. Sunset and Hollywood Blvd. have nothing to do with Florida.

Then maybe the name of Disney's Hollywood Adventure captures this better. Closing the front of the park means that the whole park would have to shut down, and I really don't see that major of an overhaul, because $$$

  • A Gargoyles attraction. Possibly a suspended roller-coaster.
  • That Muppet Italian place that originally got thrown out. (Confirmed!)
  • A Zootopia attraction.

Not a fan of Cars. And love Incredibles, but I feel Monsters inc has slightly more of a following and legacy considering 2 movies have been made. I also think that a Monstropolis could make an incredibly immersive land. I would love to walk down a street in Monstropolis and up to the Monsters Inc building to experience a ride on one of the doors from the scare floor! I also think it would be cool if they randomly had monsters just walking around and you could witness a random code 2319 occur. :p

I would love an Indiana jones ride too tho.. so can I have both?

Just another thought on what the name could be. I think it was a couple years ago when I ordered one of the Disney vacation planning videos for fun and in the Hollywood Studios section, the woman talking was like "It's one EPIC ADVENTURE!" and she seemed to stress the words. I remember thinking hmm. maybe they could rename it that. Disney's Epic Adventure. Then it leaves the door open to all things that could be deemed "epic" like pixars epic storylines, lucas films epic adventure, and the epicness that all of hollywood represents. idk, just a thought that I had.
