We have polar bears and Pandas at the zoo near us. It's the Memphis zoo and we were there a couple of months ago. The polar bears look like they are having so much fun. They really like to show off for the people.

We love AK. We usually stay there a whole day. We love taking the train back and seeing all the stuff there. Walking the trails and looking for birds. And of course the rides. My favorite park is MK but AK comes in a very close second.

I always loved AK.

Dinosaur is my wife's favorite ride. And she's more than abit of a thrill junkie.

We always have a great time, and would go back on our next trip.

I just wish that there were a few more live animal attractions...I don't know, something like the safari, but maybe a different concept. I think they could do some great things.

Its a good park. And thats about all it is. I dont wish it was gone or anything, but I cant help but think that it could be a great park with a few additions (whether that be beastly kingdom or family dark ride)

AK is a great place. It has become a big part of Disneyworld, and i think Walt would have approved, beyond a shadow of a doubt. The way i see it is, after watching the work and detail that went into building the park, you cant help but be amazed and impressed with the park.

The main problem is the lack of animals. When the park first opened the only chance to see amimals was on the safari, which was fleeting at best. Sometimes you'd ride and hardly see any. Remember Jungle trek was not open yet. To me first impressions are important, and there are a lot of visitors who have had a bad first impression. Although the park has gotten better, the reality is people's impression is that there isn't much to do there for the money. To me its only worth it if you have a park hopper. The name implies that this is a animal based park, but thats not really true, which I think confuses a lot of people. The place definitely needs more rides that the whole family can ride together. I will say however, the park has made strides in the right direction over the past several years.
