Ideas for SGE replacement

I know people don't like the idea of having to much PIXAR on Tomorrowland. But, if the time is right and the movie does good, Would you like to have a Wall*e attraction to replace Stitch?

I am curious since i saw the new trailer (and looks amazing) and there is a scene where Wall*e is in a kind of Pod just like it can be at SGE. Here is a quick link of that scene.

And yes thats from the trailer available at http://www.apple.com/trailers/disney/walle/
Check the Hi Def version.

ANYTHING would be better than SGE, although I would prefer something wholly original there.

Team with NASA again and get me some international space station stuff. I miss a real space-based attraction in the quasi-futuristic tomorrowland.

Misson to the Moon.
Mission to Mars.
oops. Already did those.
Alien Encouter.
oops. Too scary.

I really did like Mission to Mars. Never saw Mission to the Moon. But of course, Mission:Space already takes us to Mars.

I really don't have a clue. It would have to be some theater attraction, of course. Maybe Mission to Pluto!

The last thirty years have seen incredible astronomical discoveries so you would think that disney would capitalize on that. I vote for something with black holes.

Didn't they recently decide that Pluto isn't even a real planet?

They could turn it into Escape from Stitch's Great Escape where you desperately try to claw your way out of that dumb attraction

Since a tomorrowland built in the likes of Jules Verne was far more appropriate for Disneyland Paris, the job that was done to WDWs' tomorrowland in the 90s, which was only partially done, should be scrapped.

Tomorrowland doesn't have to be a serious look at the future, leave that to Epcot , but it can be a fun look back at the future.

A tomorrowland 3.0 ....a googie space aged tomorrowland patterned on retro futuristic themes.

A space bar and lunching pad undernath the astro orbiter. A full scale Coca Cola Moonliner rather than the scaled down one they have now at disneyland, a new flying saucers, buzz lightyear would be fine, by why not a full fleged pizza plantet right next store...replacing the galaxy palace theatre.

As for Stitch, I think there are a number of new things they could do...we may go back to the moon...or to mars....so why not play it off as...the possibility of tomorrow, done in a retro way.

Imagine the whole monsters inc area gutted out and updated with a 21st century reimagined adventure thru inner space using the timeless narration of paul frees.

A tomorrowland terrace that actually has real people playing it. A groovy space mountain rockin' away in space station 75, a carousel of progress dedicated by the metro retro historical society showing people life in the late 60s and the dawn of progress city/EPCOT?

And a new attraction replacing the skyway station area and vacant lot near it?

Alot of possibilities to a land that is becoming Fantasyland East

Stitch is really starting to bother me. I bought something last time I went with all the Disney characters on it (Mickey, Donald etc...) And Pluto wasn't on it because they just had to put Stitch in it's place. I didn't even bother riding SGE on my last trip because I heard it was so bad. I really think they should just throw that whole idea away and start something new.

Jim Hill did say that be believes that SGE won't be around much longer (said it on the Magical Definiton Podcast) and that Pixar would be showing a huge influence in Tomorrowland, so this would certainly make sense to me. Then maybe they can do what I thought they should have done from the start, move the Stitch animatronic over the the Tiki Room WHERE HE WOULD AT LEAST FIT/BELONG and bring over the new show that is coming to Japan.

Personally I wish the next attraction that replaces SGE would completely gut the building and start over. And yes if Wall-E ends up being as good as I think it will be, it will deserve an attraction. And Tomorrowland has already went to heck in a handbasket, so why not? Just keep CoP around a little bit longer though :(

The CoP just needs to find a new home. I've always felt main street or liberty square would be good homes or innoventions. CoP doesn't fit in a tomorrowland filled with pixar characters...doesn't mean CoP is a bad ride, it needs TLC and a new home.

They won't spend the money to put it somewhere else. Having a great attraction not fit in the land is better than not having it at all.

Thats cause hes a dog..............................................Duhhhh

Both correct, almost! Pluto is currently classified as a dwarf planet, along with Eris and (the former asteroid) Ceres. I say currently because the definifition of planet needs to be adjusted at the next meeting of the International Astronomical Union. Under the definition now in place, a case could be made that Jupiter would not be classed as a planet. Remember, all that is being done is defining and classifying, and nothing is physically happening to Pluto.

But he still likes to get scratched behind his ear!

Why don't they use the areas where the Skyway used to be in Tomorrowland and Fantasyland... that would give a little space for something... It's a shame to see those two buildings just sitting there...

Timekeeper.Back.NOW.

You know i was thinking in almost the same, how about a really amazing show like Timekeeper, take it to the next level. I was some new 3D technology recently that blew my mind (and they were using some old footage, and no it wasn't the Hanna Montana movie).

After looking and looking at the trailer from Wall*E, it make sense to use something in the lines of the Timekeeper, Wall*e and Space. and to add a spin how about 3D. Tomorrowland has the space why not use it.
