I'm so happy that MK is expanding Fantasyland. This is the kind of expansion the parks have needed for a time. No disrespect to Pixar movies, but I never thought Nemo taking over the Seas or the live stage show in AK was profound, nor did the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor knock my socks off. Here is a list of other possible attractions that (I think) would stand the test of time and not garner so much apathy from Disney World fanatics.

Adventureland...

*Captain Hook's Pirate Ship. A lavish table-service restaurant. Hosted by Captain Hook, this ever-scary character meal would see characters like the Evil Queen, Maleficent, Cruella, and Captain Hook mingling with guests at dinner. Poisoned Apples would make a delicious dessert

* A brand new Indiana Jones ride.

Frontierland...

* Pocahontas/Davy Crockett canoes. Segments of Tom Sawyer Island could be themed to Native American culture.

Tomorrowland...

* A new 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (to replace the motor speedway)

Fantasyland...

* A mine-car roller coaster theme to Snow White. (Similar to the game found in the first Snow White DVD). The Seven Dwarfs could greet guests in different chambers of the Diamond Mine.

* Monstro. A dark ride, roller coaster hybrid. It would begin in an enchanted underwater setting that would quickly change into a winding coaster under the seas with Monstro in high pursuit. The ride finale would have guests catapulted into the open ocean (a manmade lagoon), where a lifeside Monstro (think the Jaws ride at Universal) lunges at guests.

*Wonderland. Guests enter through a hedgerow maze that leads to the Queen of Hearts castle. Inside a ride, Escape From Wonderland, would take guests through a madcap journey through Alice's imagination. Full of color lights and maybe 3-D effects.

*Halloweentown. Similar to Wonderland. Tons of character greeting areas and a dark ride.

EPCOT, U.K. Pavillion

*Hell Hall. A scary indoor roller coaster themed to 101 Dalmatians. Guests board Cruella De Vilesque cars and are taken on a wild ride through the English countryside and into Cruella's gothic manor.

Disney's Animal Kingdom...

North America: Grizzly River Rapids, surrounding the attraction guests could ineract with animals like Black and Grizzly bears, deer and other animals of America's natural forests.

The Amazon. An elaborate riverboat attraction (think Jungle Cruise meets Kilamanjaro Safaris) takes guests on an epic journey into the amazon. A similar walking trail can be found near the attraction.

Resorts:

Disney's Agrabah Palace Resort

A full-scale reconstruction of the Sultan's Palace from Aladdin. Numerous rooms, an upscale restaurant called The Blue Diamond (character breakfast featuring Aladdin, Jasmine, Jafar, Abu and the Genie), and an authentic Arabian Cafe for lunch and dinner. A theater would hold the Aladdin stage show. Luscious gardens surround the resort

How about in the summer, they do the Bonfire Dance from Tokyo DisneySea. It is very popular and it may be popular here.

I'm not familiar with that, but i'll look it up. It sounds fun enough. Fire and dancing are two of my favorite things. :king:

Well, Bonfire Dance would be in the peak seasons and feature two live hosts, Mickey and Minnie in Arabesque Costume, and Aladdin and Jasmine, Genie would make a special appearance from the top of the hotel close to the end. The stage would be in the middle of the garden and in the round. There is a special dance close to the end, with the link here, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYqzV_70MF0. Mickey and Minnie also start out with white costumes and change into their regular costumes for this show.

Remember why people hated DCA, because it was a California themed theme park in California. A North American section in North America sounds good on paper but it would be hard to execute.

I rather them see Beastly Kingdomme before another real continent.

I love all of your other ideas.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on that one. I get what you're saying about DCA, but I think that an area themed to the Rockies would be a foreign and "magical" enough experience in Florida given the flat terrain. It wouldn't have to be a large land, but I think in order to get the full scope of the animal kingdom, you'd need to include as many different species as possible. Then again, given the climate I'm not sure if high altitude animals could survive the FLA whether. It's tricky.

I would have mentioned Beastly Kingdom but there are oodles of threads about it on here. I think it would be an interesting place to put the Horned Kings Castle though. If they did it right I think they could make it not look so out of place and really make it flow with the rest of the park. It couldn't be a very well structured castle. It would have to be almost like a ruin with different areas to explore.

Speaking of ruin.... I think that the characters of The Jungle Book deserve more attention in the Asia area. I think they could bring back the Jungle Book show and jazz it up more and possibly have a themed log flume ride to compliment Kali River Rapids.

And now that I'm thinking about it, the Pocahontas canoes would be more appropriate in the North America area of AK. The canoes could be on a track in the water and guests would pass by different animals along their journey.

More ideas...

World Showcase: Spain, Russia, Egypt.

UK Pavillion. A more comprehensive representation of Scotland and Ireland would be welcome. Maybe an Irish castle?

Magic Kingdom

Tomorrowland.

Mysterious Island. Near the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea area, these two Jules Verne inspired rides would be the perfect bridge between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. I've always thought the racetrack looked cheap and out of place and weakened the overall look of the Kingdom's right side.

An Atlantis-themed E-Ticket attraction could also be found here

The exteriors of Tomorrowland could be remodeled to resemble a more booming city scape. Above the transit authority and swooping in and around the land could be a new Autopia that would whisk guests along the neon tracks of the Tomorrowland skyline. These cars of the future would be brightly colored

Adventureland.

Fire Mountain. A hybrid rollercoaster drop ride. Guests explore the vast reaches of an active Hawaiian volcano culminating in a finale that blows the vehicle upwards out of the mouth of the volcano. Could be somehow connected with the Polynesian theme of the Enchanted Tiki Room. A new Tiki Room could be build near it or alongside it and the themes of angering the gods could flow into the plot of this ride.

Adventureland would also be a good place for a Jungle Book stage show if AK din't work out.

Liberty Square

The Riverboat could seasonally be themed to different Disney films. Davy Crockett and the River Pirates could host a show while Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen could host a nighttime party that would feature fresh Cajun food, a live band. Jack Sparrow and company could hijack the boat for a nightly summertime party that would show guests first hand the life of a pirate. Captain Hook and Mr. Smee could also be on hand and Peter Pan could show up to save guests from permanently joining the crew at the very last second.

I like the idea of an American animal land. But then what about a Down Under marsupial section (a second safari)?

My two cents

1) E-ticket
How about an enchanted forest carriage ride? It will be like the Indy jeep, but outdoors and a carriage (or indoors). I couldn't say what the theme would be, but it would be fun!

2) resort
Disney needs a hotel with a 1920s theme, an urban gilded art deco palace theme. Sort of like Hollywood tower hotel but more 1940s. You could put pictures of airships in there. imagine a 'docked' airship restaurant!

Australia is tricky. I wouldn't want to have another safari, but still a jeep ride through a savannah full of kangaroos and cassowaries (sp?) sounds interesting. And Koala Bear and Saltwater Crocodile exhibits would be really cool too.

I think they could pull off Spain, but I agree Greece would be more interesting. The restaurant would have to be a truly Greek experience though.

New Ideas.

U.K.Pavillion.

I've always thought that the scene with Mary Poppins, Bert and the children exploring the rooftops of London would make for a wonderful attraction. Perhaps, this scene could be a nightly live show. Mary Poppins and a band of chimney sweeps line the rooftops of the U.K. Pavillion and dance to songs like "Chim Chim Cheree", "Step In Time", and others from the film. The show could be cut off by the IllumiNations fireworks.

Fantasyland.

Jolly Holiday Merry Go Round. Guests board an elaborately built carousel with Victorian horse, however, instead of a circle, the horses bolt off the track and into the Fantasyland Forest. On this ride, you'll get a behind the scenes look at Fantasyland and at one point ride alongside the Walt Disney World Railroad. Scenes from the sidewalk chalk scene in Mary Poppins would be seen as well.
