the more pixar movies that come out the more i think they should just pixar the disney studios
Well lets not forget that Disney is making an attempt to start making animated movies again (The Princess and the Frog). And not to forget Indiana Jones, Star Wars, the Twilight Zone, and the numerous movies in The Great Movie Ride.

I know but everyone complains the studios needs a cohesive identity

I think a dark ride/simulator would be cool, similar to Spiderman at IOA. They could shrink us down to the size of a rat, race through the kitchen, paris, etc. With 3d effects or whatever.

Just curious, how would you shrink to the size of a rat (story wise) and what is the reason to why you are running through Gusteau's Kitchen and Paris on a tiny vehicle?

They could do something similar to It's Tough to Be a Bug and just gradually make the surroundings in the queue get larger and larger so that by the time you board you are already "the size of a rat." At this point it would just be like any other dark ride in the sense that you are following Remy on his adventures in the movie. At the end, the exit would work in exactly the opposite way, with the props getting smaller the closer you got to returning to the Studios proper.

I like this ideal...the queue would be really awesome.

Yes, but his "adventures" in the movie are for detailed reasons not just to adventure or to beat some villain. And alot of these reasons were explained with dialogue, Remy's little adventure sequences are spaced far apart in the movie and each one has a different reason for it. It would probably need to be a new adventure in order for that kind of ride to work.

That's what I was thinking...maybe in France at the WS in Epcot if it was well themed.

I PRAY this does not happen. I am almost to the point where I am thinking about going back to WDW (the loss of ERDT, although minor in scope, was the final nail for me). If this happens, I may be done with WDW for a LONG time.

Now, I do think this could be a great change over for some of the DS restaurants or even a DTD outpost.

How nice woudl it be to have a French restaurant at DTD where they could have character breakfast and lunch followed by a more upscale evening offering but with a room for the kids to attend a class with Remy or something along those lines. I think parents would enjoy the opportunity for some pseudo privacy, and I think a "cooking" show may be a way of doing character dining in a different way.

See, I keep hoping Pizza Planet will go Muppets once Pixar Place goes in...

;)

Yes thats what I think as well. Muppets all the way. They can use the restaurant from Muppets take manhattan:sohappy:

I like the themed restaurant idea but I dont think the movie deserves a ride. They have much better choices than ratatoullie for that.

"La Ratatoullie" and "Tour De Remy" LOL

Kind-of-a Spoiler
Attraction/Restaurant Description

"La Ratatoullie" was the name of Remy's restaurant at the end of the movie. Why not a restaurant made to look like it. Places to eat inside and outside. It's a sit down, middle range ($$$) restaurant/cafe, so the waiters and waitresses, could be on roller skates like Linguini was.

No character dining. Instead after your meal or at any time of the day, there is a small show, hosted by Remy and Linguini (or gusteau). You sit infront of a window to the kitchen. Remy is projected onto the window (ala Nemo at epcot), there he explains who's who, and he tell's story's about working in the kitchen.

I'm not sure if the show should be like Crush's Turtle Talk or Monsters Inc. but this would be the perfect place for that type of show.

I thought of the perfect ending, that will have people screeming, only downside is some people might not want to go to the restaurant after.
