Ideal Villians Land

I know we don't know much about Villains land yet, but I would like to give my idea for a Villians themed land. First of all, location. Now the current Villains land plot is set to be behind the Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom. But, I think a better location would be right behind Fantasyland. This is so it could mirror Fantasyland, and connect to it. Villains land could also contain a 4th Magic Kingdom Railroad station, since there's only 3 stations currently.

Now, let's embark onto the land of Villainy and evil itself. I named my version Shadow Kingdom, I thought it sounded better than just Villains Land. When entering from the East, where Little Mermaid is. I think an extended cave entrance themed to Ursula's grotto would be a good transition from the two areas. There would be a Meet and Greet where you can meet Ursula herself. While waiting in the queue, Ursula's eels would talk and interact with guests. Currently, the Donkey Kong coaster in Universal Osaka has plans to build an animatronic that would directly interact with guests. I think this could lead to a new type of animatronic and queue theming, so why not use it here. When exiting the cave, you would emerge into Villains land. The land would be broken up into sub-sections. We just left Ursula's Lair, and now we're in the Queen's court.

A mini-land themed too the villains from classic Disney Princess movies. This would be a home for the Queen of Hearts, Malificent, etc. This would contain a small village square with The Ghoulish Diner a small quick service themed after the Evil Queen. Selling Cauldron Stew and Poisoned Apples. A castle courtyard would be contained in this mini-land, including another Meet and Greet. Instead of just Ursula, you would be able to meet characters mentioned before such as Malificent and the Evil Queen. Even a table sit resturant would be contained in this castle, called the Queen's Table themed after the Queen of Hearts and be themed to a romanticized version of the Queen's court.

Let's focus on the other entrance to the land. Removing the restrooms behind Gaston's Tavern, would lead to the other entrance to the Shadow Kingdom. Don't worry, another restroom would be built inside the land. This would lead you to the Villain's village, another sub-area to the land. This would be the location where the villains could unwind and could shop and eat in the village. Friends on the Other Side would be a sit-down bar themed to Dr. Facilie. There would be two sections, one themed to his fortune telling room and the other themed to the song sequence. The decor would interact and talk making this bar feel like it came to life. Oggie Boogie's Wheel of Fortune would be a new interactive show/ meet-and-greet. You would join Oggie Boogie's new game show, guests would be able to meet Oggie Boogie and participate in his game show.

Located inside the village square would be the town hall, hosting the first ride of the land. I wanted a C-Ticket, family style attraction that would be suitable for all-ages. Who wouldn't want to experience the villains rides from a young age? Introducing GoonFest, a shooter dark ride simalar to Buzz Lightyear. You would enter the town hall, with the villains henchmen and sidekicks hosting tryouts for new henchmen. Guests would compete with eachother to see who could be the best evil sidekick. Although the ride is a shooting dark ride, I want the sets be built to Monsters Inc. Ride 'n Go Seek scale. With amazing and detailed theming, and there could possibily be interactive things happening when you shoot a target. At the end of the ride depending on how big of a score you get, you would get assinged a villain. I think of it, simalar to the hitchhiking ghosts in the Haunted Mansion. With Gaston probably being at the bottom and someone like Judge Claude Frollo or Malificent.

Now we're gonna enter the final and biggest sub-section, the ruins. Near the outskirts of the town would sit the ruins of a castle. In there is a new version of the Castle Mystery Tour, a new version of the one in Tokyo. In Tokyo Disneyland's castle an attraction called the Castle Mystery Tour was situated. A guided tour that was told to be the scariest in a Disney park ever. So why not add it to Magic Kingdom. Now I know Alien Encounter was taken out of this park for being "Too Scary" but they could always add warnings and tone down the experience if needed. I also think the fact that it's a scare themed land to begin with would make this attraction's reception less "polarizing". Now onto the actual attraction, you would go through a simalar experience to the original, but with an updated animatronic of the Horned King. Although from a lesser known movie, the horned king just looks so cool and is one of my favorite villain designs. But you could always replace him with Chernabog or Malificent.

The second ride of the land would also be situated, being stored inside Malificent's castle. Now originally, I planned a newer version of the un-used Dragon coaster for Beastly Kingdom. But I thought there was already a lot of coasters in Magic Kingdom, and this new ride would fit more with Disney's plans. A trackless dark ride called The Evil Revue would be contained inside the castle. You would board trackless vehicles and would take you too a banquet hall full of the villains. They notice you and call you an intruder. You immediatley whisk through the castle. Multiple different rooms would be randomized and each would have a classic disney Villain try and attack you. A new theme and new music would be developed for this ride, playing through-out the attraction. Villains such as Hades, Scar, and Jafar would all try to attack you with varying levels of success. The end would have all the ride cars get back together and would see Malificent transform into the dragon. The next room would feature the huge dragon spitting fire at you and you dropping a couple of feet. Your ride vehciles would lock into simalar pods as Rise of the Resistance, including dropping you. Although no simulator part, you would have made it out alive and successfully escaped the castle. I based this ride off of Mystic Manor, not using the track layout, but having singular rooms with animatroncs and music playing. I love that attraction, and I would love for a ride at Walt Disney World to put that kind of energy into this attraction.

The final ride, and the main ride would be housed inside Bald Mountain. Night on Bald Mountain would be the lands main icon and adding another mountain to Disney's collection. The queue would start in the small village next to the mountain, the one featured in the Fantasia short. You would then enter the caverns of the mountain. There a pre-show would be featured, it would show Bald Mountain in the distance with Chernabog emerging. He would call all of the villains and evil-doers across the land to come to the mountain. Cast members would then take you to boats where you should be able to evacute before the villains come. The boat ride would use the same system as Shanghai pirates, being a magnetic guided Boat-based Dark Ride.

You would enter the mountain and see the villains start to arrive. Through-out the ride, large set pieces and desperate souls would preside, with animatronis and screens depicting them. The finale would include the large gathering comprising of villains, imps, and a gaint Chernabog animatronic. This would be the most ambtitious animatronic and room ever seen in a dark ride. Chernabog would spot you and two doors would open up, he would banish you away from the mountain. Your boat would drop down a big drop finally landing where you could see the mountain in the distance. You would then depart leaving the mountain.

If you were able to read through all of this, thankyou. I means so much to me that if you did go through it and saw what I thought a possible villains land could look like. If there's any critsim or feedback you could give me, it would be greatly appreciated.

I like the idea for the middle entrance. I've been thinking the restrooms near Gaston's Tavern would be perfect as well. Since he is a villain himself, it would transition perfectly from Fantasyland to the Villains section.
