Idea for CoP: Microsoft Sponsorship

I was just watching CNN and they were reporting about the new electronic gizmos showed at this year's Consumer Electronic Show. In the report, they showed a house the Microsoft built for the show, showing Microsoft's vision for the hime of the future. This got me thinking. Microsoft obviously poured a lot of money into this temporary exhibit. They obviously have their own vision of what the home of the future would be....

...and this is totally compatible with Carousel of Progress. Disney should ask Microsoft to sponsor CoP! They could tweak up the show so that it would be compatible with Microsoft's sponsorship and change the last act to show Microsoft's house of the future!

Damn, I should be working as a Disney executive! Why haven't they thought of this? Microsoft would so do it!

I think MS should sponser Test Track. Since windows is always in crash test mode.

Go for it. Redo the AAs from scratch, move the theater (rebuild using new technology), and bring on the sponsors.

When they do the upgrade, they should move the whole building to Epcot. They could put it in between Mouse works and the Coke store.

The only way CoP could fit in Innoventions would be to put it right in the breezeway. I don't think that's a good idea.

I think it does fit in right there. It has the home of the future with the ending of CoP being the New Year around the world. It's a transition.

I think you have a great idea Peter! I would definately like to see CoP as either revived or redone. I think it would be interesting!

Actually, that is a very good idea, good thinking. It would make sense and it would fit CoP pretty well, but even better with a few tweeks.

I know many an Imagineer, but under policy, they are not allowed to "hear, see, smell, feel, or taste" anything from the outside world. CONTAMINATED!

i highly doubt disney cares about what you think
