If you bring a cooler in lieu of renting a fridge can you buy bag ice at the food courts or just have to make a ton of trips with the little bucket back and forth to the machine?

Use the ice machine in the building, not the food court. You could always take your cooler to the ice machine in the building instead of running back and forth with the bucket.

There are no bags of ice at the resorts. I don't know if the Hess stations sell them or not.

Pretty much what we did. For the first filling, take the cooler to the machine. Ours didn't fit under the spout, so it was fill a bucket, dump it into the cooler, repeat.

Then to top-off the ice, just the bucket, or the bucket and the plastic bag liner things they leave with the bucket, is enough.

We did the same, only we would hold the cooler as close to the spout as we could get it and just push it with our hand and let it fall down into the cooler since it was just a bit too big to put right up under the spout. Usually one of us would do this once or twice a day and we were able to keep milk, cheese, yogurt, jelly and other stuff cold the whole 10 days we were down at Pop.

Thanks, good to know. And I figured that even the All Stars must have this but wanted to check and make sure it wasn't a case like the coffee makers. I was planning on using the ice bucket as a mini cooler to keep one of those single serve milks and a small juice for breakfast overnight.

That will work.

Did the same thing on my last trip... we even stored leftover apple slices and grapes in there for breakfast as well!

If you are flying and don't want to waste a checkin as a cooler, one of the bigger companies makes a collapsible cooler that folds up really small - I can't think of the name and it's buried in the attic. Have used it for years.
