IBM "Think" Exhibit Coming to WDW This Fall

A few more details revealed here.

• There will be 10 media displays in the exhibit
• The theater will be enclosed and have 3 levels of stadium seating
• There will be additional interactive media displays on the outside of the exhibit

No, it is supposed to be going over in the other side of Innoventions, across from the current IBM area from what I've heard.

This would be a vast improvement for Innovations. I just hope they can spark the rest of that area to be as intuitve.

I totally disagree. One of the biggest complaints around here is "the dumbing down of EPCOT". This looks like a step in the direction of improving on that. I certainly hope so.

And that's exactly what I'm assuming TDO is thinking when they look at Epcot. Epcot's Innoventions buildings were there to educate the public in a fun matter. Same with SSE, Horizons, World of Motion, etc. Whether guests were able to retain the knowledge was a case-by-case basis but at least the information was there for those who wanted to further their intellect & expand their minds by thinking "what's next for our future?". A lot of the attractions that have been replaced or rethemed used to inspire tihs type of thinking. Now they just replace them with thrill rides & popular movie overlays. There is plenty of space in WDW for those types of rides & whereas I still enjoy Epcot, I don't feel as though it is the place for them. Epcot has lost its core initiative unfortunately, IMO.

Just got back Friday from 11 days at WDW. I asked about 'IBM Think' on a couple occasions, and was told that the tentative opening date was January 5th. Does anyone know if it's open yet, and if so, what did you think? It looks really neat in the IBM promo video from the NYC exhibit, posted by the OP.
