IASW To get new music?

A lot of time a commitment was put into creating this video, and although a fruitful idea, I do not think this is likely to happen. Even though "It's A Small World" is a song of minor doses, it's a one-of-a kind tune which can never, in my opinion, be replaced. Those Sherman Brothers knew what they were doing. :)

P.S.- they could use this melody as exit music or something of that type (I would personally enjoy that)

If they change that music, it's going to be a bloody world, after all, because we will then be forced to shoot Bob Iger instead of just complain about him.

Change the Small World music. Why not turn the sky red, make water black and give up cars?

Change the music. What a ghastly idea.

Disney was a fool for slagging off its own product in Lion King. ("No! Anything but this song!") An entire generation has grown up thinking it is hip to dislike the Small World song.

Curse the silly ironic nineties. Everywhere, Disney felt it had to portray it was too hip for its own product, from Lion King to the New Management Tiki Room to Energy 'Now With Ellen' and Journey into YOUR Imagination.

Small World is a triumph of creativity, Disneyana, optimism and mid-century middle class values. May it last forever, the legacy of Blair, Disney and the Sherman Brothers left fully intact.

I bet if that show becomes huge I could see them showing up in the ride on a hot air balloon.
I'm not in any way saying this is happening,(relax CaptainNeo, don't have a hissy fit) but I bet if the show becomes huge I could hear that music on the ride. Do I have to explain more? Who forgets "The ride that inspired the movie that inspired the ride" logic already?

I heard that the classic and completely uncontroversial hit, "Me So " by the popular children's artists, 2 Live Crew is being considered. In essence, the new IaSW which features children from all over the globe, will give children a brief audio hint into how they were made, easing the pain created by the loss of Making of Me from WoL. For one, I can see the logic and greatness of this idea. Of course, the extremely danceable, catchy song featured in the OP would also be a valid replacement for the most recognizable tune on planet earth.

IASW is one of those songs...hear it in once...takes up residence in your head for days...I like the song the way Sherman plays it and sings it...but...it's message is so perfect for the attraction....

And IASW is about as Disney classic as you can get...so don't screw with it...I like the fact that it's still the same ride my Grandma enjoyed so much...
