The new song that your talking about from California. when IASW reopened this past year at D/L they found the old area cue line BGM from the New York Worlds fair....They recleaned it and digitaly remastered the track. The track features the different ride zones that fade in and out. Its a great addition and you would wonder why it wasnt there in the first place. Not so much just the tick tock of the clock...but, that sound is still there.

Is it just me or does the new "facade" look like a fancy styrofoam display? Atleast its a new look....(maybe it looks better in person).... :veryconfu

It looks like they are going to have the dolls come out of the clock like at DL, but there is no track for them in the picture and it seems to be really close to the rail and walkway. Are they going to have dolls come out or something different?

I said the SAME THING!!! That whole big white facade creeps me out!
Yea, I agree... If it freaks us out, then it will probbably definately creep out the little ones. Weird...

It would have been cool if they could have incorporated the old skyway building with the load, unload of small world. It would have freed up some of the congestion between SW and Peter Pan. Plus it is such a pretty little building.

If I'm correct, that's not possible because there is a little road or just a little sidewalk to the left of the IASW building. Right next to it is the Haunted Mansion ride building I believe.

Yea, I can't either...not so much just to ride the rides and see the puppets, but to see what major changes have been made and to observe and rate those changes. I still want to ride it badly, though.

Iasw

I'm heading down Disney way next week with my last day being at MK on Saturday the 19th. I've heard March 18th as the reopening date for IASW. However, the Disney World website says it is closed through the 19th. Does anybody know what cast portal says about the reopening? Will I be riding IASW on Saturday the 19th? Thank you for any info.

I have to admit, I love this ride. LOVE it! And I wasn't too keen on them doing any changes at all. But now I'm excited about it. I do hope they keep the viewing window at Pinochios, we always loved to sit there when we could get an open table. Wonder if the song will be noticably different????

That picture shows an exact duplicate of the original ride facade from Disneyland! That's amazing!

The only difference is that the clock tower doesn't look functional. I wonder if they will have the children of the world come out every 15 minutes to announce the time like at Disneyland? And of course it's all indoors to protect from Florida rains, hail and humidity, but other than that it's almost an exact duplicate of Disneyland.

But the copy of the 1960's original is a definite improvement over the uglier 1970's version. I remember Small World being one of the E Tickets at WDW that was noticeably inferior to the Disneyland version (along with Pirates, Peter Pan, Space Mountain, etc.) This should be a nice improvement for East Coast audiences.
