I would give up my Disney trip for ......

I worked hard to strip my debt down, and was for about 6 months until we finished up our Disneymoon. I hate going into the hole, but this was a once in a lifetime experience for us. It was certainly worth it, but going to be paying this down for a while.

11 days ... all deluxe, rough

and of course we have another trip booked for March 2013... but only because we bought AP's this year for the first time and we're going with another couple. Staying in one room will really cut down the cost for us.

but, after this March trip it will be a while.

Tough one. I'd probably only trade it (WDW or DLR) for a couple of weeks at the FIFA World Cup. The Olympics are cool and all but it's not the World Cup. Perhaps I'd trade it for a dream Europen vacay. Of coarse I'd have to catch a few football/soccer matches while out there as well ;)

Honestly nothing. Seriously it's my escape. WDW is non-negotiable for me. Period. There are things I want like a Vikings super bowl but not enough to give up my WDW adventures.

Been there, done that. Ireland and N. Ireland in 2010 and then Scotland in 2011. Believe me, as much as I love Disney, giving it up for those two years to travel to the UK was so worth it.

Going to Ireland is my dream. I'm hoping for it someday. When I was a kid, my dad went to Scotland for a business trip. He came home and told us they might transfer him there. I was so excited. I wanted to go. It never happened tho. :(

A trip to The Masters. I've been 3 times to a practice round and it is the only place I've seen that does it better than WDW. Sorry (not really), it's true.

Nothing short of being present when the Chicago Cubs win a World Series.

Given the Cubs history, I don't think I'll be missing a Disney trip anytime soon.

Ireland is really, REALLY doable... especially in this economy! I've been six times, it's a great country and I have a lot of family there.

The only challenge is a flight, which is expensive... but there are deals to be had throughout the country, they are desperate for tourism dollars

I'll be in Scotland at the end of the month - bringing DD home from St. Andrews. Making a small side trip to London to visit the Queen :p. Wanted to do DLP, but just couldn't swing it.

I have actually given up my last three trips for survival (rent, food, electricity)
So I am not giving up my next trip for ANYTHING!

Would depend on the parameters of the trip planned. Deluxe vs mod/value, what resis I have booked. etc..
Basically straight up for beach side condo in Maui or Kaui for 2 weeks.

nothing...

Olympics, yeah... I could really care less about 97% of the events there. Badmitton, kayaking... really? How about men's field hockey?

Wow Men's Field Hockey... lame. Unless all they do it hit each other with the curved sticks in gladiatorial like combat.
