I wish Disney World had ______ dining experience

A molecular gastronomy signature restaurant located in Epcot (Future World). Crazy cool, innovative, futuristic and delicious food in a signature that actually lived up to the name and that fits with the FW theme. It would be nice to have more signatures like this that are real destination restaurants that people want to experience instead of "just another place to eat".

I LOVE this idea. My family recently saw something like this in practice when we visited the Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C., and dined at their restaurant (the Mitsitam Cafe). You ordered your food at one of four stations -- one each for the regional cuisines of the Southwest, Northeast, Northwest, and Mesoamerica. The food options were diverse, freshly-prepared, presented in an upscale style, and quite amazing. (My family members enjoyed everything from roasted salmon and bison to rice pilaf with cherries and celery root salad.)

I don't see why the United States pavilion couldn't offer a TS restaurant with a menu built around a similar idea (perhaps with a prix fixe menu where each "course" offers at least one choice from each region), featuring the best of Eastern, Southwestern, Midwestern, Southern and Pacific cuisines. We have so much more to offer than burgers, fries and Ceasar salads! It's sad that our international visitors to the U.S. pavilion don't get to see that.

That sounds REALLY good! YUM!

I have a full scale idea for the restaurant from rotating menu options based on seasonal festivities and crops as well as themed dining areas designed after picturesque/iconic areas of the country with a nice mix of American artists to help blend sections. And they could still serve a hamburger as an option, but it should be a good burger- maybe even rotate that option based on some of the top burger spots in the US. Sadly...it's nothing more than wishful thinking.

Oh man you guys are making me hungry! It is a shame that America has such diverse food options, including some great produce options, and yet they choose to represent the country with burgers and fries at the WS. And totally agree with the fact that it should at least be a good burger and not some crappy microwaved hunk of beef.

This thread has some REALLY amazing ideas!!!

I Love the villain idea, pirate idea and especially the molecular gastronomy signature restaurant. All not only awesome BUT needed!!!

I always loved the idea of Whispering Canyon Café/50s Prime Time. Fun; engaging without the characters. Where families with kids of all ages have fun without having to hug Donald Duck. I wish they had more options like that.

Maybe an Adventure's Club-esque option. That would make me happy.
