I’m having my gallbladder removed in 3 weeks and I’m going to Disney Hollywood studios this coming weekend , even though some days doesn’t hurt I’m worried about riding all the rides and that this might cause a rupture or my gallbladder to explode or anything.. am I being paranoid ?? I haven’t asked my doctor, I figured maybe I find someone over here who’s experienced this before. Thank you for your comments !! 😁

I am a Nursing Student, but I am certainly not a Doctor and I agree you should consult with them, but a ride such as the Rock n Roller Coaster doesn't seem like a very good idea in my opinion.

Been there! Back in 2013, I was scheduled to get my gallbladder out within a month of going to Disney. I'm a naturally anxious person so I was panicking. My doctor told me to just continue watching my diet (I was told to limit fatty foods and stick to only meats with feathers) and to enjoy my trip. If I had a fever spike, then I would have to go to the hospital because that means it ruptured. I went on every ride that trip except for Rockin' Roller Coaster. Definitely talk to your doctor but I hope that eased some of your fear. Have a great trip!

I'd skip TOT and RnRC. SDD is smooth enough and should be okay. As for ST, MF: SR, and ROTR, ask your doctor.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say stick to the shows and low fat foods. I do anesthesia, but I highly doubt your general surgeon is going to give you a full throttle go-ahead.
That being said, I imagine that there are a lot of Americans with mild/chronic cholecystitis (who just dont know it yet) that ride those rides and are just fine. Personally, I wouldnt push it because I know it would be on my mind the entire time. From what I hear, DHS is stressful enough 😳
