I know absolutely nothing, and would like to know more! lol

I do have a couple of questions about Disney Vacation Club.

Is it a one time fee or do you pay a yearly cost?
Do you have to buy your tickets for Disney then on top of this or are they included?
Can more than one family buy into the same DVC or is it only a one family thing?
How many points do you need for stay?

Please tell me anything else that would be helpful in making a decision.

both actually. You pay a cost for the number of points you buy then there is a yearly dues fee based on those points

You pay for your park tickets on top of the cost of DVC

1 family I believe

Depends on the season and room type and resort. For example October 9-15th 2011 for a Grand Villa would be 299 points or at Beach Club for a 2 bedroom would be 278 points. This is

Best advice I can gice you is to buy at the resort you want to stay in.The main reason is you can book your home resort 11 months in advance versus 7 month at non home resorts. If you plan on staying at Beach Club or Boardwalk during the food and wine festival then that is where you want to buy.

I hope that helps you and feel free to ask any questions :)

Both. You're buying an interest in real estate, so there's the purchase price for that. Then, as a timeshare owner, you're responsible for your share of the resort's operating costs and real estate taxes. That amount is determined annually, and can be paid monthly or as a lump sum each year.

Only your lodging is included. No dining, tickets, or anything else.

just as with buying a house, it's possible to have multiple parties on the deed. Only you can decide if you want to own real estate with another family, with all the financial complications in the event of divorce, bankruptcy, etc. My rule of thumb would be, if i wouldn't buy a house with them, i wouldn't buy DVC with them.
