.....that they show in a lot of pictures. The one with the couple on the balcony and monorail is running right by the room. Anyone know what room that is by chance?

Without seeing the exact picture your talking about I would be guessing. I believe there are a couple of Longhouses that you can see the monorail from. One being Rarotonga.

My best advice would be to visit the best site on the web for Poly info. www.tikiman2001.homestead.com If anyone or any site could give you the best information its Tikiman!

By the way I'll take any room at Poly!

I think it is the third floor of the aotearoa longhouse. maybe room 3216? I love the 3rd floor lagoon view side of tuvalu, room 3407 stayed there about 10 times!

Would the monorail make a lot of noise when it rides by.

Aotearoa looks over the monorail on one side. And the monorail doesn't make any noise.

Rarotonga

Rarotonga would have to be my favorite. Next to the main building, arcade, laundry, and the parking lot. Very close to pool, TTC, and food. It is what we usually request.
