Ok, I think I miss the wand...

Anyone else, before I get sent hate mail?

I just like it in ROE when all of EPCOT Center all goes dark and the Wand goes dark...

And it's so sparkly...

You will be missed...sorta

yes im gunna miss the night time sparkle but i hope they can add litte lights to SSE to make it shimmer at night. but i really dont miss the wand. just the pretty sparkling stuff it did

It would be awesome if they had the ability to add strobe to the Geosphere in random areas...it would look incredible!

They certainly have the ability and the technology.

Personally, for me, the last time I was at Epcot Center was Aug. 24, 1993, and when I return to WDW this October after a 14 year absence, it will feel normal.

Since I have no memory of visiting Epcot during the wand years, to me, the experience will be that it never happened.

I mean like it wasn't original EPCOT Center, but it's so shiny and cool! When you're on the monorail and you can't see the top of SSE, the wand is there to greet you....

That;s why I think they should have MOVED the wand and not destroted it...It could acted as a sign post and the monorail coulda gone under it...

Yeah,I will miss the strobe effect too,but I would rather have a clean SSE.

If you miss it too much you can always by the parts of it on ebay as they are put up & start to rebuild the wand in your backyard. Ok maybe not go that far but I understand some people may have enjoyed it so I for one will not eat you. Now if SGE was your all time favorite ride I may have to consider it lol.

I'm torn. I liked the wand, but I also like SSE without it. The Classic look is pretty breathtaking. I think the idea above, about putting the wand elsewhere with the monorail going under it would be cool. It could have been placed at a point alongside the road just before the monorail gets to the parking lot ticket gate.:cool:

Yea, I think it would have been pretty cool at the parking gate. Now, even though I extremely prefer SSE without the wand, when it was there it didn't ruin my day at Epcot. :D

Its okay to miss it if you want. Just because they took the wand away doesnt mean that wont do something to it later down the road. Like when their done with the whole retro Epcot Center thing. They might add something 7 years from now. Who knows:shrug:

And i hate that Siemens tattoo at night... :(
