I think everyone can relate to this

So I was in WDW at the end of August and made it just in time for Tropical Storm Fay to make landfall and circle around Orlando for 5 out of 8 days of our trip. Once Fay left we then recieved terrible storms that almost made the Tropical Storm look lame.

Here are two quick videos from my 7th day in the parks attempting to get in the gates of Magic Kingdom. (Watching it in high quality shows the detail of the beautiful Florida weather better) ;o)

By this time we had seen a constant pour down all day long and were at our wits end. The forecast for the day was 40% chance of rain - and we (for once) didn't think we needed our beloved Disney ponchos. Whoops.

Don't feel too bad. This is what I had to deal with after Fay.

Wow, so sorry to hear (and see) how terrible it was for you.:( I guess, I've been lucky in all of my trips and never run into that. I will say that I, no longer, try to go during the summer.

We finally ran after waiting about an hour and a half. I'm used to the summer storms, but this was pretty bad. The bad part about Fay was it would be sunny, then pour, sprinkle, then pour.. clear off for 10 minutes, and then about have hurricane winds. I'd rather it just rain for 3 hours and be done. Kinda ruined our trip.. I don't think we'll go again in August. I love enjoying the atmosphere of the parks.. not just the rides.. almost a week of rain definitely ruined it

We were at Beach Club for Fay as well. That storm just sat and spun, it rained the first 4 days of our 9 day-er. The back five had great weather, just some spotty storms in the afternoon.
