I think Epcot’s embracing the Flat Earth theory?

It's really a shame that Disney or other companies have no experience with using barges to store off-stage, motor to location at sundown and upon which they could stage fireworks, light parades, or other effects and had no choice but to ruin the view from 100% of World Showcase.
I need help figuring out what these barges add to the show. What are they supposed to do? I’m not impressed. Am I missing something?

Even with that issue, the HarmonioUS barges have better visibility. I can see better on a sheet of water than I could on that globe. Don't pretend like you knew what you were seeing on that globe.
No I didn't and it was a boring part of the show. I never said that the previous show was better. Nevertheless, I could not see what was projected from where I was watching. (near Canada). There was a huge barge in the way.

I keep expecting Teal'c and Colonel O'Neill to walk outta that ugly thing.
My son said he kept expecting the Eye Of Sauron to appear in it

No... Theres a reason you let professionals do the job from start to finish. They have the background, the skill, the expertise, the understanding to come up with a cohesive, well put together show. Trying to build a show based on a mish mash of fans ideas would be disastrous.

It's true. If fans were allowed to create a replacement it could come out totally disjointed and all-over-the-place...kind of like Harmonious. We wouldn't want that.

Since the pros seem to follow the same formula for all extravaganzas and parades now I think letting fans have a go would be fine, who knows they might even have a cohesive plot running through the show. Every one of the last decades shows has started with "we need to include clips from our popular IP", followed by "how can we push merchandise sales", and finally we need to just scrap together music we already own instead of write a score and having it performed. Harmonious (and most other contemporary shows) are just blatant adverts for their movies and animated films. No new IP at all, ever, under any circumstances. They don't spend money on creative directors, they just have marketing fill in a form of what they think they should currently be hyping. It is so sad.

I don’t know. I think it’d be interesting. We could have a show that consists of alcohol, some fireworks, two floats from the MSEP, the Serpent from the water parade, some water skiing, strobe lights, and Goofy on a Zip Line.
Yes! My suggestion they have to include is a Figment KiteTails circling the lagoon through the whole show. I'm not fussed about where they crash it at the end.

So you didn't try looking at the other screen intentionally positioned so that you would have an unobstructed view of one of the barges that has the same effect as every barge?

That globe should have never been stand alone imagery. They should have kept the water images

Please no. Something tells me this will be worse than the shows you people hate today.

Just because you don't like what someone did doesn't mean you are creatively superior to them.
I can give you an arrangement right now, sadly I only have the arranged score and no visual

You seem to want to start an argument. There was a big ugly barge in front of us. I could not see the center whatever it is. I could see the farthest barge yes. I could have cared less about it since my closest view was a big ugly barge. Seeing the farthest barge didn't make the show better FOR ME.

You're the only one who mentioned arguing which leads me to one question, are you trying to start an argument?

Problem-solving is a very basic human development stage. If you recognize that you've encountered a problem and you know the solution to that problem but you willingly continue to struggle with the problem, that is an issue.

Please do.
I’m sorry I know it’s going to seem like I’m bluffing but I’m having some technical difficulties lol. I also plan on remaking the Laserphonic Fantasy score and communicate music loop has already begun. I went to upgrade iTunes and it crashed so there’s no importing tracks at the moment

I'm not going to call bluff on you don't worry. I responded with "please do" out of sincere curiosity for what you have cooked up. I'm very much into soundtracks, I just don't have the resources to work with that interest. I'll be ready to hear it whenever you can have it up.

Was just thinking this. There is one software called "FWsim" but the effects don't give off the same vibe as real life Disney shows.

Then again, I guess nothing is better than your own imagination (and of course, real life). But yeah I'd check out FWsim.
