And I have been accepted to the Disneyland CareerStart program for Fall 2008 as an Attractions Cast Memeber!
Can anyone tell me wha to expect from this point? Housing? Can I just rent my own appartment since I wont be there by May 19th to get offered housing, which I'm totally fine with.
Any advice whatsoever would be helpful

You would have to preclear this with Disney, but IMO, don't expect them to be cool with it. I've heard stories of people checking in late for the CP, in small groups, but again, don't expect them to do so. This is an exception, not the norm.

Especially since this is for a CP position which makes you one of the most expendable CM's in the company, don't expect any favors.

Well I'm not arriving late...just not in time to get housing at the park. They know I dont graduate until may 30 and I'll be there in June, which is an offered time to start the program.

Well, then you should ask them to change your start date to June as opposed to May 19th

Sorry for the confusion. Let me explain. The program starts in May/June; however, I read on one of these forums that housing is only offered to those who can arrive on May 19th. I'm not one of those. I havent scheduled a start date yet because I'm going to 1st see if my friend gets accepted. (which should be tomorrow).

yes, if you don't check in on May 19th, you can't use their housing, and are responsible for finding your own. congrats!
