My wife and I were talking earlier this week about what we want to do in the future. And by in the future, I mean after the kids are grown and have moved out. We were talking about where we might want to live and one thing we both love is living places that are close to the ocean. So we decided that we're going to sell our house after the kids graduate high school in several years and go out a buy a sailboat to live aboard. This will allow us to move almost anyplace and travel to most places we've wanted to. And since we'll only be in our early 40s when my son turns 20(he turned 10 today) we'll still be at an age where we'll be able to be active enough to travel. Anyway, I was looking today on eBay Motors and found a boat that I really want. I know it's still several years from happening, but this is one that I really want:

And the cool thing with this one is it's named "Luna." Which as many of you know, is what my wife goes by on here.

That's a neat idea. Hope everything works out with it. I have always loved the idea of living on the sea, even if it is close to dock.

Thanks. I found out there is a sailing school here in Buffalo, NY, so I'm thinking of going there. The classes are reasonably priced and you can go back as much as you need to in order to get yourself comfortable with sailing. Then I'll be able to handle things someday when we're all ready to try this.

I am laughing only because husband and I are in our 40's however our last one is 11 currently and we talk about selling the house and buying an RV and driving all over when the last one graduates. I guess as adults, we all think alike???

You'll like it for a little while.......
22' beam means double slips or end slips either way count on $1,000.00/month in slip fees.

Lagoon is a very nice boat, we bareboat charter for 3 weeks in the BVI's every year.
