:wave:Hello Everyone,

I’m looking for some information from you all. My husband and I are planning on a trip to Disney either end of Oct or end of Nov for a couple of weeks. We always go during the middle of Feb which we are still planning to go again Feb 05'. I’m just wondering what the weather is like during that time? What’s the crowds like? Also if we were to go after Thanksgiving, how soon is all the holiday decorations up to see??? :xmas: I always wanted to see it during the Christmas season. Any other information that you can give would be a big help on making our decision.

We went the third week of October a few years ago and the crowd levels were great--not too crowded at all. I don't exactly remember the weather, but it must not have been bad or it would have stuck in my memory more. Overall, I remember it being a really nice trip.

As for Christmas, now that's my favorite time to go. Every Disney fan should get the chance to see the holiday decorations at least once. I think the decorations go up Thanksgiving weekend (although someone else can probably tell you for sure). It would be very crowded to go then, though.

Thanksgiving week will be very crowded and the Magic Kingdom may be a bit more crowded than usual on days of Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party in October. Epcot will also probably have bigger than usual crowds in the world showcase due to the international food and wine festival. Food and wine festival is amazing and I would recommend trying to make it during that time. Also thanksgiving, while busy, is also a great time to visit. I believe the majority of the Christmas decorations will be up then as the Christmas festivities begin shortly after. You can visit http://www.allearsnet.com/tp/ep/foodwine.htm for more details on the food and wine festival and http://www.allearsnet.com/tp/h_decor.htm for information on holiday decorations as well as links to all the other special festivities during that special time of year.

As far as weather goes, it can be cool at night. Also during the day, some may be cool while others can be warm. I usually visit the second week in November and I usually bring a couple pairs of shorts and a couple pairs of pants so I'm prepared either way. In 2002, I actually did the college program, but I wore shorts well into November. Last year on my November trip it was cool (I wore shorts on most days, but it was a bit cold and I also wore a sweatshirt). T-shirts should be fine, but I'd also bring either a sweatshirt or a light jacket because the nights can be cool.

Hope this helps!

We have gone in late October and it is really nice weather and the crowds are pretty thin so it is good. I have not gone durring the Halloween party though so I can't vouch for that. Early October is nice too but it still close to the end of Hurricane season so it is a little more risky for good weather.

I have not gone durring the holidays to see the decorations but hear it is beautiful. The weekend of Thanksgiving is very busy though but after that until the week prior the Christmas are listed as one of the slowest seasons of the year in Birnbaum's guide (at least it use to be listed like that, I have not gotten one in a few years).
