I have never been on ToT or RnR. I've held my husband's/daughter's backpacks when they were on RnR...everyone has opted to skip ToT. Otherwise, I bring my WDW "tote" on all the rides with me.

yes, you can do it! I remember getting on RnRC with my backpack. There is a little "fish net" thingy in front of you where you can put your stuff. I also wrap the straps around my leg, so there is no way they will go out flying and killing me! haha :animwink: you can always ask the cm if it´s ok with the safety rules. :animwink: (please do so!!!) ;)

One note of warning! If your bag isn't waterproof, your things can still get wet on Kali River Rapids, despite the "waterproof" storage area! If any of the previous riders neglected to close it thoroughly, or it is very full when you ride, water can get into it and form a puddle inside.

you can usually bring what you want along on rides. Just make sure you have a firm grip on it....I've even managed to videotape RnR and ToT without losing the grip on my camcorder.

I've taken a backpack onto every ride in disney and didn't have any problems. Except for IASW where i was tempted to throw it at the dolls.
