I miss the skyway to ....

I miss the skyway. I know there were several threads on the reasons and rumors of why it was removed. But that aside I like riding the skyway, It gave you a great view of the MK. Its unfortunat that Disney wasn't the only Theme park to remove there skyway, The SF/GA in Chicago got rid of theres some years back.

Well the Skyride at Busch Gardens is still open, its almost exactly the same thing. Anyway I took alot of video of it and I might get it on the computer soon.

I do too!!!!!!!! I am glad that we were able to ride it one last time before they took it down. (I think that was the 25 th anivarsary.) We got some good pictures.

I think the one at Ceader point is still open. (But it has been a few years since I was pregnant and had a baby, I haven't felt like going there! It is much shorter and not as much fun, but what did you expect compared to WDW?

My guess on the closure of the skyway at SF/GA in chicaho was due to the fact that the local Fire Dept. was always comming out to rescue stranded passengers when the ride stoped or broke down. Lots of fines I suspect???

Skyways are really becoming obsolete in parks nowadays, they were once a common ride. by the way Busch Gardens I think is removing it for 2005.
