As I sit here I miss being at Disney World. What does everybody else here do when they feel this way? Luckily though my dad wants to possibly go back every 2 yrs. so I could be going back in 2004! Another good thing is that my allergies were better then ever in Florida and so were my moms so she really wants to return as well!!! :) I do have great memories of the trip and right now I'm wearing my new WDW earrings I bought and also my new watch!:)

Dole whip is jsut the swirl of pineapple in vanilla right?

I prefer a dole-float. The swirl in vanilla sitting in a pool of pineapple juice :slurp:

Hate to break up a flirt fest

I haven't been to WDW since 2000 ...you will learn to deal with the pain! :animwink:

I'm still wishing/hoping/praying every day to go back to my "Happy Place"!

We go every two years. After each trip we spend the first 12 months missing it and then the second 12 months looking forward to the next trip.
Be positive - two years ain't that long (honest)

It may another 3 or 4 years before I am able to go again and that is after going twice this year. I don't know how I am going to make it ;)

The average family of 4 saves for 5 years for a WDW vacation.

So, if you get to go more often, consider yourself very luckey.

Its been two weeks since we were there. Before we went, dh said "this is a one time thing". While we were there, dh said "in 5-7 years, we will come back". When we got home, dh said "in 3 or 4 years, we will go back". If I keep working, I may get to go back next year. He would kill me if he knew I was looking at packages for next month  I know he couldnt get another week or two off work already but wouldnt it be great to spend Friday, Saturday & Sunday at Disney for your 10th wedding anniversary? He would only need to take friday and monday off...I might be able to get my mom to keep the kids...monday would be the only troubled day since mom has to work. hmmm...do you think dh would buy any of this? :hammer:

i'm going Thanksgiving, and i can't wait! the last time i was there was June 2001, so it's been quite a long wait for me! my mom mentioned not even going this year, and just waiting until next year (saving up our DVC points) but i refused to skip this year for two reasons...1. i will NOT miss the 100th celebration and 2. we've gone at least once a year since 1992 so it would be breaking a tradition (plus, it's our 10 year anniversary this year) there was no way i was gonna miss this year!
we went twice in 2001...April, and then turned around and went in June. i wasn't really fond of that, it felt like we had just gotten back, so it was just really different and didn't feel right. i've gotten used to having to wait at *least* six months in between visits, and the long waits make me appreciate being there more. keeps me from taking advantage of WDW too much. i used to envy the people that lived close to WDW and got to go every weekend or so, but not anymore.

Practice drawing Mickey Mouse. Sign up for a course on animation and start working your way to becoming an imagineer or any other career at Disney. If you like it that much.

Leaving in 2 days, I don't know how I am going to continue to work, obviously- I am on-line so there really isn't much work getting done around here!!!

Just keep visiting this site and the pain of withdrawal will lessen!!!
