They change party mix all the time…especially if it isn’t a huge deal and you can use a high chair

You can’t book 2 and bring 7…but this isn’t that.
Though in tight spots, honestly a high chair could not be assumed. In a restaurant like 50s prime time for example or Le Cellier there wouldn't be enough room to put a high chair in a table for 4. But yeah, party sizes change all the time. I learned that the hard way - aka stressed out for weeks on end for nothing!

I've often said I think I visit a completely different WDW from the one some people describe here. Policies and management aside, most CMs tend to be understanding and accommodating to the greatest extent possible.

Posters cause a lot of unnecessary stress with their "people in front of us" stories. The "people in front of us" were turned away because they did not include an infant on the reservation (they knew this because the mom loudly said "I can't believe they're turning us away because we forgot to count our baby"). These same unlucky "people in front of us" incur the full wrath of Disney for even the most minor, unintentional rule infractions regarding parking, visiting resorts, using the annual pass holder entrance, etc.

My experience in 3 trips since COVID started…You can check in online instead of with hostess at podium. MDE will send you a notice if you have notifications on and you can check you are there, confirm party size, etc. you can also scan a QR code at the podium and it will open up the app to begin the process. Regardless once checked in, when table is ready they will call for you and you will receive a notice when it’s time to be seated and they will walk you to a table the old fashioned way.
I’ve heard from several people from the UK who report that online check-in for ADRs is yet another feature of the app that doesn’t work for them. They didn’t have the option to do it. 🙄

It seems like they just didn’t bother to test whether things would work for international guests. And this isn’t a COVID thing either. We’ve never been able to book Saviis, for example. And they don’t even let us read anything more than the advertising page on the StarCruiser. :banghead::banghead::banghead:

It is all a bit silly that things for international guests seem like an afterthought. I've just come across the issue for Savi's myself as I was having a look ahead of making our reservations next Friday - thankfully turning my VPN on works for it and I can see the available days and times, so I'll just have to do that instead.

I would be willing to bet anything that they will absolutely accommodate you under these circumstances. I would not sweat it for a single second.

Enjoy your trip!
