33 years ago, we took our two year-old daughter to Disney World. We bought her a stuffed Mickey. That was all she wanted when we went there. On our flight home, she left it on the plane and we didn’t realize it till we were already home. My sister and her family were heading down two weeks later, I gave her the receipt and asked her to buy the exact same Mickey. When she got to the gift store, she showed them the receipt and told them our story. They gave her a new Mickey. No money exchanged hands. They said that our daughter deserves to have a new Mickey. I have always loved Walt Disney World but now I love it even more.
