"almost" is a pretty strong word and it's completely wrong. This topic has been debated for over seven (7) years. During that time there has been a fairly balanced amount of us for and against the addition of the wand. I have always stood by and supported it. I like it and I think it gives the geosphere a little special touch.

If you don't like the wand why would you "have" to look at a picture of it?

Based upon the response to wand threads I'd have to say that they are pretty popular - therefore they will continue to be started and discussed. My advice on this topic would be to accept the number of wand threads and learn to tolerate them, maybe everyone should start their own..... :lookaroun

With the refurbs, Epcot is returning to its previous purpose.

For the sake of a friendly argument, no one thinks it destroys Epcot; we think it ruins the impressive architecture of the ball. And the wand is too large not to "look at it." :)

I'd say that Epcot is definitely improving though I don't think it will ever again be what it was say 10-15 years ago.

As far as looking at the wand goes I did mean that as joke in my original comments :D
