I just feel like with all these new restaurants, refurbs and price increases constantly being announced when is it stitches turn to get some attention? DONT GET ME WRONG I LOVE LILO AND STITCH and IMHO I dont even care if it stays stitch themed but something has to get done to this attraction eventually and I'm hoping more sooner than later.

I remain of the opinion that main show of Stitch's Great Escape isn't totally terrible, and could be a GREAT attraction if just given a new treatment.
That is: Continue the XS Tech storyline and make it a true (yet also tamer) sequel to Alien Encounter.

Isn't Stitch kinda all of that already? An ExtraTERRORestrial (*all together cringe now at the worst of those nineties not-quite-as-witty-a-they-hoped wordplays*) Alien Encounter sans steroids, a scare-in-the-dark ride with the scares removed?

It's a pity. I know what you're saying, must agree. In itself the very idea, and even much of the execution, is fairly decent.

No...I mean a legitimate "sequel". Where XS attempts to salvage their reputation and their company by re-tweaking the teleportation machines (and adding extra security in the form of the two robotic gun turrets), while promising that they've got it right THIS time.
Lo and behold, things go awry....but instead of a giant bloodthirsty star-beast, we wind up with Stitch.
You can even use Gantu's lines from Stitch Encounter....
Spinlock: "Well....at least this one doesn't look that bad....he's actually kind of cute..."

And then Stitch gets loose.

How about the pre-show? Will the robot from the original be there or will the one from Stitch be there?

I would bring back the original incarnation of S.I.R (AKA "X-S 2000")., voiced by the late, great Phil Hartman.

Yep...before Tim Curry was cast as S.I.R., the original X-S 2000 was more of a glad-handed and bumbling salesman type. He didn't last long past the soft opening because of the unacceptably huge tonal shift between the preshow and the horrors that waited beyond.
So they got Tim Curry and turned S.I.R. into much more sinister and sadistic character, in order to give the preshow a darker edge that meshed better with the main show.

Blink, blink. Breathe, breathe. Day in, day out.
Thought this would be a good place to tell people about my theme park review channel... Especially for this attraction! :p

I know, I shouldn't really matter to me, and on many levels it doesn't, however, how many times are we going to flog this dead horse before we just give up on it. Stitch will be there until Disney decides to replace it... I don't think that Stitch is their top priority at this time. (And it shouldn't be)
