Does anyone know at what point during the election year one must be 18 in order to run for Legislative Office in the State of New York? I'm considering a run for Assembly/Senate in 2008. Thanks for help!

Check with the Board of Elections, but I would say at least by Election Day...
it mat be by the last day for filing though.

I tried calling them, but the woman I talked to was like "They're all in a meeting right now. Maybe if you call in 45 minutes they'll be done." I love this state. Anyway, I've got an uncle who works for the governor, and when I see him today, I'll ask him and maybe he'll know/ maybe not.
