Don't worry I'll get you a super sized one!:D I wonder how many besides us know what one is? LOL
( :) raises hand) We had a totally medieval/renaissance wedding with bagpipers instead of an organ. After being presented as Mr. and Mrs. we walked down the aisle to "Scotland the Brave".

Everyone on these forums...for being so nice.

I started reading and posting regularly because I was bored and kind of laid up. It was just something to kill time.

But I slowly started to think of this "place" as a We place instead of a They place. I've found that we have a really excellent little group here. Thank you for including me. :)

And the way people reach out to help...it really does help. Helped me, at least. I've had a very ****ty year and the people behind the screen names here have helped with kindness and with simple distraction. I never laughed so hard at anything online as Bob Saget's recap toward the end of the Racist Country Bears thread!

So, my sincerest thanks you all!

(Kindness will not get anyone out of being strollered at Epcot, though. If you're drunk in Epcot, you must go. A girl can only take so much and must draw the line somewhere.)

I've been around here a very long time, and have seen many ups and downs with the tone of the membership. It was a very nice community back when I joined, but it went downhill for a while, to the point that I stepped away for a couple years because it seemed that every day was pretty heated and nasty and rather unpleasant to be around. You can kind of tell by comparing my post count to the my join date--I was just a lurker for a long time, then I bowed out for a while, and when I came back I found that things had changed and I was comfortable diving in and becoming part of the community.

So it's with some authority that I can say that the current overall group of members here is a very nice group indeed (naturally, there are a couple of exceptions, but there are exceptions to every rule, right? ;)). Thankfully, very few exceptions nowadays. :)

Well said, @luv, good thread, and right back at you! I always enjoy your posts. Hank you, too. :D

Edited to add: Even those who might seem to be the "exceptions" aren't really "not nice", I think, they're simply passionate about their Disney.

I too have found these forums to be very pleasant and fun to be part of . I also used to frequent a different WDW forum site  but left that one because it got very petty and not very informative
The people on here are always polite and helpfull and really make it fun (if a little twisted) to be part of this comunity.

Aww, you're very sweet @luv. I too had a very bad Senior year and coming here when I was sick cheered me up. And I was just about rolling going through the Bob Saget thread from when I went to Disneyland. Very nice place indeed. I don't even care to go elsewhere since people are nice and the site design is better than most other forums. Excellent is the word.

And don't worry about the type-o. I can't type on my mom's iPad. And it gave me a chuckle.

Even though I've only been here for a couple of months, I've never felt more welcome on this forum. It seems like every time I go back to WDW, I appreciate it even more and when I say, being there is the best feeling of all, I may sound like a broken record but it's true. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else really. I thought I would have to confide my WDW interests for life because those who know me know how I have to keep my WDW interests a secret from people I know in real life. I just don't have the luxury of best friends or family who like WDW like me and that makes it hard. I seeked refuge here because circumstances were hard in real life and even being on Facebook rendered useless. Something was missing after my last trip to WDW. A sanctuary where I could share my love for WDW and after searching, I found this place.

But like Disney World, WDWMagic puts me in a different world where I don't have to deal with real life problems. Here, I can share my love of Disney park food, the rides, shows, memorable experiences and see other's peoples stories and their experiences, as well. Sometimes, things can get heated, particularly in the rumors thread, but it's not like YouTube where people are constantly at each other's throats. I get a stronger sense of community and camaraderie among the members and I love that about WDWMagic. But personally, I never thought people would actually "like" my posts when I first joined. I thought that I'd be a small fish in a big pond and I'd be ignored like other forums I've joined in the past but that's not the case. In a way, I feel valued to be part of this forum because people are taking the time to glance at my posts and liking them for good reason. Whether it's informative, a great story to hear or makes good points, etc, it means a lot and I am truly grateful for that. Not really else to say but to all of WDWMagic: I love you all.

You're a valued member, I can't believe you've only been on here over a year, it feels like longer! (I mean that in a nice way!) :D
