I just need to rest for a minute

I never rest really other than CoP and TTA because I always have to be doing something. Its a kid thing. But if i had to choose a spot it would be sitting on a balcony at the beach club looking at the boardwalk with ToT in the background.

There were a lot of lovely places to sit and rest awhile at POR--but they were all smoking areas!!!! Non smokers like to sit, too! (Rant over). Best place is somewhere away from smokers (if you can find it) enjoying a Dole Whip Float. Next best place to sit and relax--Mickey's Philharmagic. Nice seats, great air conditioning, and knocking out an attraction.

As long as the weather is not unbearably hot, I would probably say a bench in France pavillion. Somewhere like here!

Or the bench area in Adventureland right across from Aloha Isle, as well.

There's a little narrow shaded area near Tower of Terror at DHS where I like to sit and relax for a bit. It's out of the crowds and out of the sun. Awesome. I also like the Writer's Nook at DHS, although I wish to heck Starbucks would offer its coffees there - the stuff the Nook offers now is atrocious.

I love resting in the little seating area down by the river/moat in MK...just beside the Ice Cream parlour, last time we sat there we were the only family in that area..was great just people watching!

I also love sitting outside the rose and crown with a cheeky glass of wine! Lucky I like the rose and crown since it's only 6 months til I start working there :)

Places we rest and people-watch...
MK - Aloha Isle (Dole Whips in hand) and TTA (fun to look down on people and see what's happening)
Epcot - Japan (backs to the lagoon, watching/listening to the drummers)
DHS - Echo Lake (near Min & Bill's, facing the hat)
AK - Africa (near Tamu Tamu)

After the MSEP, I like to sit near the queue area in Splash Mountain. Usually there's only a few people there, so it's really quiet. I like to sit down and just listen to the queue music and people watch for a few minutes. It's so relaxing. After some time relaxing, I find the need to get my adrenaline pumping, so I hop on Splash Mountain afterwards. Usually there's nobody on the ride, so you basically have the ride to yourself. Another great spot is the nook Main Street. They have a few tables and chairs there, and it's usually empty during most of the day. I sometimes get a scoop of ice cream and eat it there while taking in all the beauty of Main Street.
