I just need to ask a few questions...

I'm planning a trip to WDW this year, and would like to know the following things from more experienced "magic addicts". :D

1. How are the rates for tickets and POFQ? (We're going in late November, my birthday!!)
2. Is that a big season for tourists? (We went in July last year for our honeymoon, and BOY! The CROWDS!)
3. Is there any special things going on at that time? (Like Christmas or Thanksgiving, or whatever)
4. Is there any special moments I could be able to experience as the birthday girl? :king:
5. How to I redeem the "Free Admission on Your Birthday" with a Magic Your Way Package Plus Dining with Park Hopper passes?

Thanks so much!!

I'll answer the questions I can

2. If it's the week of thanksgiving or after, Yes, it will be very crowded, otherwise it won't be at all.

3. Christmas will be going up, but not in full swing yet, except the party at Magic Kingdom.

5. You should probably use the ticket you have to get in, but still register and go to will call to get another prize: Birthday Fastpasses, a Merchandise gift card worth the cost of a 1 day 1 park ticket before ticket, or a complimentary ticket to use at one park on a later date, within one year.

We're hoping to go down the 22nd through the 28th, so it probably will be crowded, huh...

And what are the Birthday Fastpasses? And the merchandise certificate? That sounds like a whole lot more fun than just getting in free. :p

Thanks for the help!

Generally, the "free admission" isn't worth doing unless you're only going for a day or two. Using the value of a one-day admission for shopping or thebirthday fastpasses [you get FPs that are good any time, no waiting for a "window" to use them] is much better! If it's a very busy time in the parks, the FPs are probably your best option, lots more rides can be accomplished in your time in the park.

I'll help in any way I can!

To redeem your free admission ticket if you already have a MYWP, just show your birthday voucher at the ticket window on your birthday and you have the option of a gift card or fast pass ticket.

Special Moments - loads! You can have a cake delivered to a restaurant for your bday - have disneyflorist.com have goodies waiting in your room upon arrival - plan a special meal - plan a cruise to watch the fireworks. Those are just some suggestions.

Depending on when in November you go - yes there will be Christmas stuff going on such as MVMCP. We were there this past Thanksgiving and we had a traditional turkey day dinner and the resorts and parks were all decorated for Christmas!

The weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas are actually a slower time of year for the parks - a great time to go!

As for ticket pricing - I always go directly through disney to make my ressie. I know Kingdom Kunsultants are very helpful too!!
