I have Ohana's dinner booked on a Halloween party night :)

Today I called Disney dining to book this dinner. I will be staying at AllStarMusic at a passholder rate when they have Mickey's not so Scary Halloween party going on. I am not going to the party as the price is just more than I wish to pay. So I thought it would be a neat idea to watch the fireworks from Mickey's not so Scary Halloween party while I have dinner at Ohana :)

I did not think the Disney website would list the times for the fireworks for the Halloween party, but I checked anyway. When I called Disney dining I asked if the guy could check. At first he could not find the times himself. I think he was looking at the Disney website himself. So he tried something else and he was able to find the time they they will start.

He said for Ohana's dinner that he had an 8:10 p.m. and some later. The fireworks for the party will not start until 9:30 p.m. , but if I want a seat by the window I might have to wait a while. The way I looked at all this is if I get a seat at the window right away at 8:10 p.m. by the time I am all done it should be around 9:30 p.m. > If I don't get a seat by the window right away, I will have an hour and 20 minutes and it most likely will not take that long to get a window seat. Now it might could take an hour, but I do think it will not be that long. I will actually try to get there maybe 15 minutes before 8:10 p.m. if I can. So we will just see what happens when I get there

Anyways If wish to hear from those who have been to this dinner. I have been to the Ohana character breakfast, but never for the dinner. What is this place like at dinner time? Was it it like during the firework shows? I heard you can hear the sound effects from the firework shows and everything at this place :king:

I think I will really enjoy this :king: Also since I am not going to the Halloween party, it will be very nice to see and hear the fireworks show at Ohana's :king:

The food is very yummy, served family style. They bring the meat around on giant skewers. Everybody else in my party loved the desert, some sort of bread pudding, so you may want to save room.

I hope that you enjoy the fireworks!

The food is amazing, although I have heard they have changed some stuff since the last time I was there in August. It is really good though. In August I had a seat by the window for Wishes and they dim the lights in the restaurant and play the music through the speakers, so it is just like standing on Main Street. I loved it!

Thank you for the information :)

I am a Vegan so I will not be able to eat any meat or eggs or dairy or honey or any animal products. But Disney Chef's have been able get lots of good Vegan food for me. I will ask the Chef at Ohana if he/she can make that bread pudding Vegan.

My dinner at Ohana's is not until September and I will be going to DisneyWorld a couple of times before September. I might go over to Ohana's before September and talk to a Chef over there.

This place sounds like a very neat place to eat. It will be so nice to be able to sit down inside while I am eating and at the same time be able to see and hear the fireworks show :king:

it's been four years, but I had a window seat once during Wishes!
It was a spectacular view.
(it was Thanksgiving, and we wanted to avoid the parks that day,
and still caught wishes from inside the park a few times that trip anyhow)

It's a fun place to eat, and the food is tasty. We'll be there in September too  (but not on a party night)
