I recently got an ipod and discovered podcasts. Just wanted to say how much I LOVE listening to them. They're especially great to listen to at bedtime or while I'm knitting. I also play them on my computer while I'm cooking dinner. The disney ones are so much fun because I feel like I'm right there with them. They get me really excited about my upcoming trip and offer a lot of great tips and ideas. Do any of you who enjoy these shows have any favorites (Disney or non-Disney realated)? I love discovering new ones.

Disney ones I listen to are:

Trapped on Vacation
The Meandering Mouse
WDW Today
Micecast
Mouse Tunes
Mouse Guest Weekly
____________

Is it that obvious that I love these shows?!

The meandering mouse is good until Jeff starts using that silly voice :)

Beyond Main Street is a good vidcast

Lets Talk About Disney is a fun family podcast

Windows to the Magic has some good content but the guy does not have a voice for broadcasting it is like a constant drone.

Mousetunes, Misecast, Mouse Guest Weekly and The Park Hopping Podcast are all great except Lou Mongelos "Rumours" are usually Jim Hill specials :)

Extinct Attractions would be ok if they didn't spend most of the podcast trying to sell you their dodgy DVDs.

Inside The Magic is my favorite.
I'll have to check out the others mentioned though.
The Podcast thing has taken off by leaps and bounds. More and more are added on many topics, but some start and don't keep it up. Others keep it up, but have minimal production values or lame content and sound like freshman college radio.

Minimal production values? Lame content? Sounds like an improvement for us.

I love Mouse Tunes myself, I could just listen to it for days and days and days and days.

I like the "official" podcasts of WDW & DL too. I mean a lot of it is spin but you find out some interesting things too.

(eek first post! I've been lurking for months though and just finally decided to register and join the fray)

This site has most of the pod-casts.

http://www.disneypodcastnet.com/

I specifically listen to all these Disney pod-casts. I find that each show has there own niche and not much overlap:

The Trapped on Vacation Podcast - Great sound quality. Use headphones.
Micecast - Adult humor, intelligent and interesting.
The Character Breakfast Pod cast - Misleading name. Best production values. Great pod-cast .
Lets Talk about Disney
- Another entertaining one. Very funny and great personalities.
Beyond Main Street Vidcast - Fast becoming my favorite. Production values get better every show.
Inside the magic - My first pod-cast. Have been listening since show 2#. Great source for disney news.
Welcome to WDW Today! - Good Hosts. Another good pod-cast. Updated frequently.
Mouse Tunes - Good.
The Mouse Pod - Not updated since Feb 06. Was great. Each show would spend about 2 hours breaking down a Disney movie.

I only listen to Inside the Magic (ricky, i'm still waiting for my phone call :D), Mouse Tunes and whenever the official WDW one is updated.

BTW, you don't need an iPod to listen to the podcasts. Nor do you need iTunes, however it looks easy since iTunes can manage updates and such.
