Can you buy Disney Dining if you are not staying on property?

WE are, but my parents are not, but we will be eating in most of the same restaurants in Disney around Xmas in the park and at the Poly.

No, sorry, only for onsite guests as part of a Magic Your Way package, AP add-on, or DVC add-on.

There won't be a problem with them dining with you - its just when it comes to ordering the meal you'll have to make it clear to the wait staff - who pays and who's already paid

Best of my knowledge, you cannot. You have to have a MYW package OR a DVC package, I believe.
