Why?
There is some good discussion occuring on them. If you don't like them, don't open them and read them. There's a lot of other discussions happening in other areas of this board, so I'm sure you can find something that doesn't annoy you. But why shut down a thread altogether simply because you don't like the content? Makes no sense.

the negativity does get to be a bit much. Life is too short to hate a ride...I hate white bathing suits made for guys. Bought one once b/c it was the only one left at Steve and Barry's (it was late July so the winter coats were out on the racks) thinking that they surely would not make it see-through when wet. Grrrr...
