I bought a share last year from one of the sponsors of this site. Oneshare.com? Something like that. Anyway, it comes framed and looks really nice. Of course, it cost about $100, so at $.21 a year, it's going to take 476 years to recoup my investment. :animwink:

DIS is selling for about $24 /share right now (far less than when I bought). Its going to take awhile for me to catch up, too.

I am waiting for mine. I get payroll deduction and I think I have 5 or 6 shares by now. I started it in November so I am assuming if I had shares by Dec 12 I will get my check! I am going to go right out and spend it all in one place!!:lol:

Well, there was the price of the stock, there was the fee to buy the stock, the fee for the frame, the framing fee, shipping, etc. To me, it was worth it to be a Disney stockholder.

OK.....but if you want to own more consider buying direct from Disney (or most other companies)...they sell directly to you and the fees are much less.
I have a DRIP account (direct re investment program ) so I never see any dividend checks.
