Impossible to happen at RNRC....there's a fence blocking you from going to the track.

Not true, there is a door between the pre-show/loading station/exit area. I know this because on my aunt's B-day, a kind CM allowed us to go through this door and go on again for the second time! :drevil:

Weve skipped once or twice.

Only When there was hardly anyone in the room, and nothings ever been said to us.:veryconfu

I guess it depends on the cast and what mood their in.

In Paris we Skipped every time after the first time, but that was only coz their in NO preshow in the Paris version. Everyone was skipping the show, and if a CM was going to get funny with us we would have told them straight "until you put an actual Preshow in there, i ain't staying to watch it"

Weirdos eyeing the girl so the dude has to bust out of the studio to catch a ride in a fast alley, but the man steps in and kicks them out before their limo arrives.

Sounds more Bon Jovi to me. Are you sure you're not leaving something out?

LOL Ummm no this is what really happened to us.. And the door was closed when I pushed it open to skip the pre-show. I have done it before but I guess no one has noticed.

Actually when you leave the preshow there is infact a fence keeping you from falling on to the track in front of the limo.

I don't remember the RnRC preshow, but does it contain some kind of safety info? If so, they might require you to see it.

most of the rides have a story so the preshow inforumes you about the story and so you don't know that the lines are really big.
Of course I know that they have a story to them, thats a big part of Disney, but I would imagine he has rode the attraction in the past so he allready knows the story. People that have never rode before would want to get the whole experience anyway and watch the preshow.

No not at all there is no safety information in the preshow, it simply sets the scene, we turned up to see Aerosmith but they have got a concert so have to leave, they give us tickets to go and see the show but it is allready starting, but we are not to worry because they give us a really fast car to get there.

No safety info.

Only thing I could consider why you were thrown out is because "you cutted in line". That idea is sort of extreme though since everyone is loaded in a room anyway.

Did you check with Guest Relations about it?

I don't see how skipping the preshow causes a problem other than a crowd control issue. You can close you eyes and totally ignore the preshow and it is the same as not seeing it at all.

But that's the whole point....they use the pre-show as a holding area. Skipping the pre-show messes with their crowd control and in effect you are "skipping in line".

The pre-show definately exists as a crowd control feature, but being forced to see it? Odd..

It's like the old Living Seas - after they took the ride out, NO ONE would EVER go into an "exit only" hydrolator just to see the fishies... *innocent whistle*

The difference here is that I believe there was only one theater at Living Seas not multiple theaters....as with RnRC or Test Track. Say a group goes into theater 1 and you are supposed to go into theater 2 but walk through....you're going to be joining the theater 1 group and messing with the count and the crowd control...no say if everyone did this....

It may not seem like a big deal...but in reality is can be a potential big problem.

I do it all the time at Test Track. You skip the preshow by following the other people out or by opening the door. Never had anything said to me. That plus the single riders line allows you to ride Test Track 2-3 times in 1 hour.

How many preshows does Rockin Roller Coaster have?

Now i'm starting to see the problem...

Especially if it's just like Test Track, you'd be cutting in line of like several people, if not like 100 or more (How many people does each room hold?)

Plus, monkey see - monkey do. Never let one Guest get away with bad behavior as others will follow their lead (thus making it a problem it wouldn't be if only 2 people did it.)

Actually I really do not see what wrong with it at TT. If your in the single riders line you really do not cut in front of anyone since your in a different line. However I have seen people who go through the single riders line, skip the preshow and hop over the rail to get into the regular line to ride together.

I don't know, I think the CM should have atleast escorted you back into the pre show room. I don't see why its such an offense to be kicked out of the ride. Its not like it was endangering anybody.

While I agree it was not endangering anyone. I do see why they kicked him out. If they allow on eperson to get away with this eventualy as Mousemerf pointed out the monkey see - monkey do scenario starts to occur. If many people were doing what the OP did there would be mass confusion thus you can't let it start.

I think you hit the nail on the head. I'm going to close this thread before it turns into a discussion about how to "cheat the system" and skip preshows without being caught.
