I so want one!!! :lol: I have been saving up for a 20GB one for ages now! They look so cool! On ebay I have seen 15BG models, but on the apple website they don't have it...was this discontinued? It seems that they changed the 15bg one to a 20gb one with not really changing the price much!

I am about 1/2 way there now on getting enough money...I hope to have one by October!

I too have an iPod! I have the middle one, the $399 one, which is also the 20GB one which I believe holds 3,700 songs. I love it do death. I take it everywhere.

First of all that's really cool! I've wanted one since November last year, but I opted for a Sony VAIO instead.

Now I'm torn between an iPod, TIVO, or a Westin Heavenly Bed! Too many cool gadgets to buy on my budget...broke! :lol:

I love my iPod. A word of advice though... treat your remote like it was made of glass. I am very careful with mine, but still am on my third one. I have a 2nd generation version and the headphone jack has shorted out on the two previous ones. Apple is very good about replacing them though and even overnighting it to you with no questions asked. That is until your warranty runs out...

Thanks for that. I am also purchasing a case (as the 10gb version does not come with one), as I heard that the screen, and back scratch very easily. Is this true?

The Apple supplied "case" broke the first week. I moved the wrong way getting out of a car and the belt clip snapped. I've had a soft, but very protective sport sleeve made by Marware (I think) ever since. The sleeve was half the price of Apple's very inadequate case which offers no scratch protection on the sides or protection from the Seattle rain. I almost never take it out of the sleeve since my iPod has a Firewire port on the top (pre-Dock model). I haven't scratched mine yet and have had it for just over a year.

Hope you like it! I give it 3-9 months before it breaks though. I've gone through about 4 of them already....for one reason or another they just...die.
