If they lose the video projections, I *might* make an effort to see it. I certainly would not go through all that trouble of getting a Fastpass and waiting in long lines just to see it. If I can't just walk in after perhaps a brief wait in line, plop down on a seat and watch the show, then forget it. Good or bad, I'm not jumping through all those hoops to see it.

I haven't seen WoC in person yet, so I guess I'm not really qualified to comment here, but I have to say that based on what I have seen on YouTube and elsewhere, nothing about the show really grabs me. I mean, it looks like a nice "dancing waters" type show, but people have been describing it as being such an astonishing and "amazing" (very overrused word in my opinion) attraction. Your description kind of confirms that for me. Maybe on my next visit, I'll take advantage of the show time by hitting as many attractions as I can while the show is running.

The best part of the show is its opening minutes. It really gives you goosebumps. After that, it comes off as a soggy smoky Disney commercial. JMHO.

But again, Wishes, Believe, Fantasmic...all these shows are a big collection of clips (including music) from Disney movies. Illuminations is the only nighttime show at a Disney park that I've seen that doesn't do this.

As WDW local I would like to comment on this.... my wife & I just returned from the DLR and had the oppotunity to watch the WoC show from the preferred dining section.....

1st thing..the videos on the internet really do not do the show justice.....it is true when people say it is Incredible in person, and in fact I will go so far as to say ---> "THAT IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT"<---

2nd thing... the setup there is not the greatest as for the average viewer... there are a few wonderful spots to watch the show, but countless more spots are far less than wonderful. They have you form up in lines as early as 6pm for an 8:15pm show... if you are not in or near the front of those lines then you are going to be less than happy.... we were fortunately in front......but each fastpass section (including preferred dining) is GENERAL ADMISSION from within your fastpass classification which means that if you arrive later in line you will likely be in a crap-tac-u-lar spot within your fastpass section.

3rd...there are drunk "ash-holes" roaming these parks....I have a 20 minute "battle between a drunk guy and the people all around me...the drunk guy was physically touching me, though he never dared mess with me, but rather he was battling the woman & her boyfriend next to me, and the group behind us.... I will post the video, suffice to say I thought I might have an "evidence video" for the police in my possession, but fortunately no fists flew.... the drink guy was totally oblivious to me videotaping him literally 12 inches from his head...lol. WHAT AMAZE ME WAS this went on for what seemed like 20 minutes and NOT ONE SECURITY appeared...there was cursing etc with little children literally right there..... FINALLY another person in the crowd asked if they should get security and finally after five or so minutes one appeared...I imagine this guy was arrested AT LEAST...maybe even banned from returning.

The show was awesome...not sure what other people saying otherwise are talking about because in my opinion Disney hit a Grand Slam with WoC.

Something else I thought was interesting, the WoC platform in the lagoon at Paradise Pier and the general setup of the viewing areas really reminded me of the Fantasmic location at DHS (yeah they would have to tweak the size of the lake a bit...but it does rear up against the large canal that the Friendship boats travel on which is quite large in that area...but this is Disney they can make it work)...and we have seats! :) Add that to the recent rumors (true or not who knows?) that Fantasmic may depart DHS around 2012 which made me think when I first heard that "Why the heck would Disney do delete Fantasmic with nothing in its place?" Well, maybe Disney has a plan....and it includes a clone of WoC for DHS with no actors, no fireworks, no set or props, a show that can be run once or three times a night with far less cost or effort to run.... THINGS THAT MAKE YOU GO HUMMMMMMMMM......

Am I crazy? Probably...yeah...Perhaps....but then wasnt the whole idea of a huge Fantasyland expansion was crazy one a couple years back...
