I am in serious need of advice!

Ok, as you can see in my sig, my family & I are heading to WDW on Monday the 18th. But the thing is, our park hoppers only have one day on them (my mom got them off Ebay). So, we've only got from 9 am to midnight to hit all the good rides in all four parks. I'm extremely skeptical that we can pull it off. My mom says since everyone had their spring break last month, hardly anyone will be down there, so the lines will be short. But I'm still not convinced. So, I'll give you a list of all the rides we wanna do. You tell me if it's possible to pull it off. And I'd really appreciate it if you gave us advice on how to save time.

We wanna do:
-Dinosaur
-Primeval Whirl
-Tough to be a Bug
-(possibly Kali River Rapids)
-Mission Space
-Test Track
-Soarin' (if it's open)
-(possibly Spaceship Earth)
-(possibly Ellen's Enery Adventure)
-(possibly Honey I shrunk the Audience)
-Tower of Terror
-Rock n' Roller Coaster
-Great Movie Ride
-(possibly Star Tours)
-Haunted Mansion
-Pirates of the Caribbean
-Big Thunder
-Splash Mountain
-Space Mountain

Now, do you think it's possible to do all those within 15 hours? Keep in mind, we won't be sitting down to eat. Just grabbing stuff along the way.

Longer answer: You can count on at least 30 minutes to travel to each park. From walking to your car at one park to entering the next park. Also the rides you want to see usually have at least a 30 minute wait. I just don't see how it is possible.

If the parks are open to a reasonable hour, and its not too crowded ( I don't know about crowd levels this time of year), I'd say its possible, but depends on the day, whether you can utilize fastpass and such.

Well, you can probobly knock a couple things off of that list, like Soarin, it won't be open when you go, and if you take off some of the possiblies, I'll leave that decision up to you, you could probobly pull it off, but for example, Ellens Energy Adventure is 30 minutes long, and any 3D show can take at least 20-25 minutes to get done with, unless you can get right into the theatre, and the 20-25 minutes is with no wait, thats just waiting for the theatre to open the doors. Also, you may be dissapointed with Primeval Whirl if there is a wait, so if the the wait is longer than 20-30 minutes, you may want to bypass, but again, it's entirely up to you. What you want to do can be done, however, it's pretty unlikely, so you just may need to cut a couple of rides off.

Care to share the crack rocks with the rest of us? :D

I would prob start at Epcot since it's an early entry day. You should be able to hit Soarin' (assuming it's added to the open attractions list), Mission Space, and Test Track. I'd imagine Soarin' would have the longest lines, and it's my experience that Test Track has longer lines than Mission Space. And that works since you could go in geographic order from Soarin' to Test Track to Mission. I'd think you could have those attractions done within Epcot done in 2 hours.

It's a toss up whether I'd go to MK or MGM next. I think I'd choose MGM b/c your MK list has more E-Ticket attractions with longer standby waits than your MGM list. If MGM, get a FastPass for ToT/RnR depending on whichever has the longest standby time. Then go catch GMR, then Star Tours if time. Does RnR have single rider? If so, and your party is willing to be split up, that'd be the most efficient way to get it all done. Probably 2 hours also, more depending on when your FastPass time is.

After MGM, I'd go to AK to make sure I get it in before closing. I'd get a FastPass for Dinosaur unless the line is not that long then I'd get one from Kali. The reason I say Dinosaur over Kali is because I know Kali has a single rider line (or at least it did) and I'd utilize that. Whichever one you get a FastPass for, I'd probably go do Primeval Whirl next. Depending on FastPass return time, Tough to be a Bug next, or the FastPass attraction.

I'd save MK for last since it's open the latest. Get a FastPass for Splash or Thunder, then ride PotC and HM. Then get a FastPass for either BTMR or Space, and ride the other.

Might be possible to get it all done, but you'll be exhausted for sure :)

Actually my family and I tried a very similar thing in our trip last year. Our final park day we thought we would try to hit everything in one day, and, not to discourage you, it didn't work.

I don't know how big a group you're traveling with, or the ages, but I had a group of 11 to deal with, and though everyone said they would stick it out, most of them were tired and hot by noon.

My advice: if everyone is having fun with it, go ahead and try your best to get everything done. Fastpass would be your lifesaver

However, if it stops being fun, and your simply trying to get everything done and not enjoying yourself, then take a time out and re-group, find out what everyone really wants to get done. When you are thinking about how to get to the next three rides without enjoying the one you are on, quit!

Best of luck

Hah, Good Luck!

Morning: Hit MGM

Immediately hit ToT and RnR, GMR

Go to Epcot, someone run and get FP for TT, join group to ride Spaceship Earth, when finished, hit MS for singles, by then your TT FP should be ready.

Afternoon: AK

Get a FP for Kali, then wait for Dinosaur, because their queue is air conditioned, Kali's isn't.

Late Afternoon, Evening: MK

Try and do as much as possible, check the wait times board by the Crystal Palace, and hit all the big E-Tickets during Parades or Wishes. Try to hit SM, BTMRR, and Splash, along with Pirates, Small World, and Haunted Mansion....

It will be crowded, good luck, and don't forget to stop a minute and enjoy the park!

I would rather do the commando thing in no more than 2 parks in one day. If you are staying onsite, you could buy extra time w/EMH.

Otherwise I would try MGM or AK and hit the hilights then move to MK for the remainder of the day to get in as much as possible.

Remember, it'll all be there next time, so don't ruin it by over doin' it!

I highly doubt trying to go to all the parks and all those rides is possible even if it is not too crowded, but if it can be done I can guarantee it will not be an enjoyable experience at all. Take your time in the parks and think about doing 4 parks in 2 days (2 per day) and spend the extra cash for another 1 day park hopper. It is definetly worth it to not have to rush. Walking through the parks and enjoying the atmosphere is the experience that means so much.

I have done this on very slow days and even then its tuff, but I was on my own and could bounce between parks like there was no tomorrow.

While you can do all 4 parks in one day during non-slow days, you just won't be able to do everything.

Also as said above, SB isn't over yet.

Remember: Ellen's Energy Adventure is 45 minutes - excluding potential wait times.

I think you can experience the majority of those attractions if you choose the shorter ones and plan the thrill for the early morning (i.e. there is NO problem at TT or MS after most rope drop mornings). And use Fastpass!

But most importantly: don't stress. You're gonna be at Disney! ;)

I've done it, solo. Or at least something similar.

First, your mom is right that SOME people had spring break last month, but the 18th of April is smack in the middle of the breaks many schools have. Not everyone does Spring Break in March, many schools (notably in the north east) take one week in Feb. and one week in April. The crowd projections for those dates aren't bad, but don't expect January crowds either. Take it as a big hint that the MK is open until Midnight on a Monday.

As to how I'd do it, I'd skip a couple of the longer attractions on your list (mostly at Epcot, especially since it's EMH morning there that day). If you want to do a 1-day highlights tour, this is how I would do it :

1. Start at MGM. Be there well before 9AM, and in line ready to go. Immediately get a FP at ToT, then ride RnR stand-by. After RnR, do GMR (the line shouldn't have gotten that bad by then). By the time GMR is over you should be just in time for your ToT FP. If you do this right, you can be out of the park in 90 minutes.

2. Transportation between Epcot and MGM is usually pretty quick, but let's say you don't get over there until 11:30. Now, most people would say I'm crazy for telling you to go this time of day to Epcot on an EMH morning, but it's better to face the music and get it over with, especially since you probably had little to no wait at MGM. Expect to wait in some lines at this point. Since Soarin' will not likely be open, I'd limit Epcot to just M:S and TT unless you are really lucky and get out of there quickly. Using the single riders line if you can, even worst case scenario you are walking out of Epcot around 3(that gives you more than three hours to see those two attractions and hit another if you have the time - SSE maybe on the way out).

3. The reason for dealing with Epcot at lunch is because by now, AK will be deserted. After the 3PM parade it really empties out. Even if you don't get there from Epcot until 4 (you will likely get there sooner) you can very easily hit Dinosaur and Primeval Whirl and still make it to ITTBAB before the last show. If you get there before 4, you will probably be able to fit Kali in as well. Although AK is pretty big and convoluted, all of those rides are in rather close proximity to each other. I routinely end my day with ITTBAB - they let people in until the last minute and since it's a show you can relax while the rest of the park is closing.

4. Now all that's left is MK. You should be able to get there by 6 or 6:30. That gives you 5.5 hours to see HM, PotC, BTM, Splash, and Space. That's plenty of time, especially since after 10:30 or so people start leaving. I've ridden HM, PotC, BTM, and Splash in that last 90 minutes very easily (as long as you don't mind walking quickly).

It can be done if you eliminate the extra attractions at Epcot. I wouldn't recomend it with a large group that had small children or grandparents, but if you've got the energy it is possible to see all of the E-tickets in one day.

If you get rid of Epcot from your itenerary, you could actually do this and have a pretty relaxed day. Epcot is really the biggest issue you will have.

How many times have you, and the rest of your party, been to WDW? There are many people on this forum who COULD do all four parks in a day, but they've been hundreds of times. If you have to check a map, or actually LOOK at things, it'll take longer. And the larger your group, the longer it will take to get from point A to point B. I agree with others that I might be able to do it if I were travelling solo.

Heck, at the last meet it took a bunch of "pros" over 15 minutes just to get everyone in line for RnR, nevermind actually riding it. "This is like herding cats!"

U Can Do It!!

Actually I have calculated that if you spend 30 minutes on every ride it will be (including waiting) 570 minutes. This would be arround 9 hours and 30 minutes. So, if you do everything as planned in the morning with epcot u should be fine. I hope u have a great trip. I'm going in June or July. BY THE WAY HOW WELL DOES THE PARK HOPPER WORK I'm interested in getting this for my family. Thanks in advance.

Personally I think you are crazy for trying to do all four parks in one day, but I'll try to help you.

I would definitely recommend going to MK first thing in the morning right at opening. You should run to Splash Mountain, and then ride BTMR. Then you should go to HM, PotC, and Space Mountain.

Your next park should be Epcot. By that time all the fast passes will probably be taken, or later than the times that your schedule can handle. You should ride TT first, because it usually has longer lines. After that you should ride Mission: Space. I don't think anything else at Epcot is worth waiting for.

Next, you should go to AK, because it is absolutely deserted in the late afternoon. First go to Dinosaur. I wouldn't recommend waiting in a long line for Primeval Whirl, it's not worth it. You should then go to It's tough to be a Bug. I would definitely recommend going to Kilamanjaro Safaris, I don't know why it's not on your list! It's one of the best rides at WDW.

Last, you should go to MGM to ride RnR and ToT. I recommend going to MGM last because ToT is spectacular at night. When you arrive at the park you should immediately go to Sunset Boulevard. You should go on RnR first, because ToT is known to stay open past closing, at least when I was there. Last shoud be GMR. Who knows, maybe you can sneak into Fantasmic for the 10:30 show.

I hoped this helped you, and good luck!
Make sure you get a good night's sleep the day before! :)

My suggestion is to set reasonable expectations. MK is the busiest on Monday. I would suggest the rides at EPCOT, Studios, and AK. IF you have time left, head over to MK.
