Speaking of seagulls (skyrats) there was a definite problem about two years ago. They swooped right down and grabbed a bowl of soup from a lady walking on the Boardwalk and then grabbed my pizza and took off with it as I was sitting outside of the Pizza take out window. It was really scary because I had my 4 year old granddaughter with me. We noticed they aren't around now and does anyone know how Disney removed them? It would not be easy.

Hey Mammy....Why was a lady walking with a bowl of soup to begin with? How does a bird carry a bowl of soup? :lookaroun :D

The soup or chili or ice cream was in one of those cardboard containers and believe it or not the gull grabbed it and flew off with it. The lady couldn't believe it, nor could I. But I originally come from Rhode Island and we see seagulls all the time at the shoreline, but also at the huge landfill. The gulls are pretty ingenious. They grab shellfish, crabs, etc. at the beach areas and fly straight up and drop it on the rocks below to smash open the critter. Then they swoop down and eat the insides. They are usually pretty selfish too if another comes around and fight fiercely for their food, and if people are in the way - oh well too bad. Then they have some pretty nasty droppings as they fly by too.

There were alot of little black, firefly shaped bugs mating all over the place last week. Just flying around connected at the rear. :ROFLOL:
