Ok guys. I'm a huge Humphrey fan. Do they have any Humphrey merchandise stuff at WDW? (I already got the beanie off ebay). I doubt it but is Humphrey or Woodlore anything anywhere at the world either? I've seen a FEW pins w/ Humphrey & the beanie I just got but thats about it. I really want some Humphrey pics. Thanks

Humphrey's the MAN. (and Woodlore too). I thought they were both history until I saw an episode of House of Mouse and they showed a NEW Humphrey cartoon. (by the way, I like how that show brings back a bunch of old characters such as Mortimer,Horace, etc).

It's a shame there's not much at any of the parks about them. They should at least be walk around characters or something but I'm sure not many people would recognize them especially with all the bears we have now...

Humphrey *IS* most definately the man. LOL And Woodlores just hilarious. I know exactly which House of Mouse you're talking about. I typically never miss it during the day. Ohhhhhh gotta love being a stay at home wife LOL. I didn't particularly like the new Humphrey. His eyebrows were disturbing. I really wish they'd use more of the classic cartoons rather than the new ones. I do love they've brought the old characters back too. The only new change I like is Daisy's long hair. Very good look for her. She doesn't look like a female Donald so much anymore like that. Too many bears walking around now huh? I expected that with Country Bears :hurl: coming out. Isn't there a sign or a picture or ANYTHING ANYWHERE in the park? :brick:

I hate what they have done to my Daisy now, on House of Mouse. But the only thing I have seen of Humphrey has been at the Wilderness Lodge.

i wish they would show all those old cartoons on the disney channel again! i remember growing up watching all the fab five cartoons, the humphrey cartoons, the silly symphonies, and all the classics. i would watch the disney channel 24/7 if they showed all of those. remember the best one ever when donald and humphrey are fighting over the honey? it used to crack me up.
and donald with the bee, who pretends to orchestrate music, and be an umpire... those were the best...
and of course, all of the fab five cartoons, this would make mickey, minnie, donald, goofy and pluto SO MUCH MORE popular!

Right. Humphrey is all over the Wilderness Lodge. There is a totem pole in the lobby with Humphrey holding up Mickey, Donald, and Goofy. You can get the Wilderness Lodge snowglobe which has a canoe with all four guys in it. And you can get a large, plush canoe with all four plush guys in it. My grandson loves to play with it.

I totally agree! Disney channel made a big mistake when they quit showing Ink & Paint club in favor of teeny bopper shows at all hours of the day & night. I remember when Disney channel first came out & there was a lot of DISNEY stuff shown. Even what would be considered playhouse Disney now... for younger kids... was Disney themed like Dumbo's Circus. Used to watch that all the time. I think Disney needs to drop at least half of their teeny bopper devoted time slots (it's the SAME shows they play during the DAY) from like 9 or 10pm on til playhouse Disney time for some REAL Disney stuff. It's a big mistake to let the classics die and I think they're on the right track for it the way they're going right now. What kid is gonna be up in the middle of the night to watch Kim Possible? I've even thought an entire Disney Classic Channel would be great. They've got Toon Disney. Why not Disney Classic? LOL VH1 did it! Nothing but REAL Disney cartoons & all.

ABC is owned by Disney now right? For some reason I thought I heard that somewhere. Eh.. leave ABC Fam. LOL They do a marathon of Mole episodes when the season is over. :p I say just add a whole new channel. Does anyone know who's doing it is that Disney has become totally teeny bopper oriented? That was THE biggest mistake. Same with Cartoon Network (I think it was CN) doing away with Late Night Black & White.

Good thread. I have to agree that it is a disgrace that the disney channel doesn't show ANY classic disney cartoons. The only mickey mouse we get is house of mouse. You would think TOON Disney would show classics, but that isn't the case at all. What happened to the Mickey mouse club, and classic disney movies? What is this world coming to? Am i missing something?
