Good morning huggles to all!

Well, I feel like I should post this somewhere cuz I'm so happy about it. My son has gone 5 days with big boy underwear! After months and months of potty training. We even went to the zoo yesterday with big boy underwear on! To those of you who have never potty trained it may seem like a small thing, but right now for me, the feeling is right up there with graduation and marriage! He turned 3 on 5/20 and I convinced him that the money we saved on diapers could be used to buy more underwear (he wants a set of Incredible Hulk whitey tighties) and for a trip to Disney World. He doesn't really understand that we're talking two different ends of the scale in terms of cost.

Now if only we can get our sedentary, almost one year old (6/10) interested in walking or crawling or something.

:sohappy: For the run of dryness! I remember those days very well...they seem like a lifetime ago!

Don't worry about the other one not crawling yet, my youngest really didn't crawl too much for very long; just shy of her first birthday she stood up, took a few slow steps and then started to run...she hasn't stopped since!

I've never used the word potty so much in my life. At work (my current location), I've even slipped up and said it around adults, "I have to use the potty now." At least I haven't made a big deal out of a co-worker emerging from the bathroom - "Did you use the potty?! Good job. What a big boy! Now you get two Pirate M and M's!"

Good morning, hugglers!

Amber - our daughter never DID crawl...she went from sitting to walking, and not until 17 months! I should add that she graduated from college AND grad school with a 4.0 average, too, so don't worry!

Thank you both for the advice (not worrying about the daughter's lack of motion). Up to this point, she's realized that she can use her incredible cuteness to get others to do things for her. So she's smart.

Good Morning.:)

I never crawled either (so I was told). I just sat around until I decided to grab the leg of the kitchen table and hoist myself up and start walking. It was about 17 or 18 months also. I was a VERY stubborn child and also very independent. I took my own sweet time. I think I turned out Ok also.

Now that would be totally funny!!! I say, do it for a laugh and watch their reaction.

Congratulations on the so-far-successful potty training. That's great. Also wish your little one a wonderful 1st birthday on the 10th.
