Did someone say BBQ? Now I've gotta find the ol' "Kiss the Chef" apron again! If any of y'all happen to be around my way, come down for some grub. I'm planning on grillin' both Saturday & Sunday.

*makes plans to drive over to Atlanta this weekend* :animwink: :animwink:

OK! I will start making a batch of my famous new homemade sangria. Very tasty! :slurp:
Tigsmom can start up the grill.
Pinkrose, Figmentmom®, and Speck can run over to the "Official MeAt" thread and steal some of their goodies!

I love Sangria! :slurp:

On my way to snach some MeAt from the "Official MeAt" thread.

Gotta party before Sunday cause my inlaws are coming for dinner.
Anyone have any ideas about what I should cook. I was thinking about grilling up some steaks... side dishes?

Try a wholesale club!

We have a higher end store called "Fresh Market" which is very nice, but a they sell rib-eye (my fav) for about $14 per lb...BJ's Wholesale is about $7 or so, and I like the cut at BJs better.

16 day till we leave for Florida!!! :sohappy: I cannot wait! WDW, the beach, a ballgame... :sohappy: It just makes me so happy. And I found $3.00 worth of change in my pockets while doing laundry... and it went straight to the Disney money!

 That's still more than my Ramen-eating butt can afford. :p Besides which, I really can't cook, so I'm pretty much limited to getting steaks at restaurants, which again, I can't afford. :p

You need to learn how to cook. Cooking is fun, it can be like going on an adventure without ever leaving the kitchen. Trying new and exciting foods is fun (for me).

Learn to cook....it is fun!

I love to cook!

I love to Grill too.

I like most meats, along with other veggies I can grill (eggplant, asparagus, summer squash, zuccini....)

I like soups (home made) and I make a mean Chili....both those only happen in the winter.

I like to bake, mainly Pumpkin Pie and other holiday treats, or brownies....or anything to satisfy my sweet-tooth.

My mother taught me most of what I know, but I also cooked in an Italian restaurant for a year or so, and I took some culinary arts classes while at university.

So, I guess I have THIS going for me.
